My Personal Biography

On the 8th of September, 2006, my parents Mealine and Calvin Duncombe’s life

changed when Jaeden Duncombe, their first daughter was given birth to. As common as

the name Jaeden is, it had a sacred and religious meaning, which is “God has heard.”

Jaeden is the eldest of one sibling, Jireh Duncombe with those two being two years

apart in age. At five years old, Jaeden started school and skipped grade one but was put in

the lowest stream because she didn’t know how to write properly. However, Jaeden was

blessed with being very brilliant, and shot up to the top stream in grade three. She

continuously maintained three point GPAs without ever dropping below that.

Furthermore, she received several Honor Roll and Merit’s List awards and even became a

prefect in grade six. In 2017, Jaeden graduated from Thelma Gibson Primary School.

Little did Jaeden know, she would be met with several other challenges in grade seven.

In that same year of 2017, she was transferred to Nassau Christian Schools. As normally,

Jaeden worked hard and received a 3.1 in the first midterm. However, when the end of

term report card came, Jaeden received her first 2.78. She was absolutely devastated and

soon realized that Nassau Christians Schools was nothing like Thelma Gibson. While

Thelma was a walk in the park, Nassau Christian Schools was like a walk on rocky roads.

NCA had a very high grading system, and she would have to adjust to that.

After years of hard work and sacrificing the things she enjoyed, Jaeden finally made a

3.0. She was happy, but she didn’t settle for that. Jaeden knew that she could’ve gotten

higher than that and she kept working even harder to achieve better results. March 13th

2020 Covid had finally struck the Bahamas, and Jaeden was just about to complete her
last lap of Junior High School. With BJCs approaching, Jaeden had another challenge

that she had to overcome. She also knew that she’d need the help of God as well. With

His help, she studied and completed all assignments to the best of her ability.

Jaeden was awarded with amazing results because of her hard work. She graduated

from Nassau Christian Schools with a 3.67 and a few months later, received her BJC

results slip. Jaeden was joyous as she had passed all of them and her lowest grade was a

C. From then, Jaeden knew no matter what challenge she faced, she would work around

it.

Currently, she is attending Anatol Rodgers and will be graduating the same year. Over

the years, she’s become skilled in many things. She is able to write stories just by looking

at the most mundane object. She is also good at solving problems as demonstrated

throughout her life. She refuses to back down from any challenge or let anything get in

her way. Moreover, she had excellent leadership skills. She’s been placed in several

group projects in school, and she’s been leading everyone effectively. Her members

relied on her to help them succeed. Jaeden can also communicate effectively despite her

shy nature as well. As a result of this, there is rarely a time in which miscommunications

will occur to her. In addition to all of this, she is very passionate about cooking, drawing,

and writing!

Jaeden has also gained various attributes such as creativity in which she can create art,

stories and even new music all in her mind. She is also very reliable and understanding.

She is not excessively judgmental but instead is kind and always enthusiastic to help

others. She’s been praised for being somewhat funny as well, despite her strongly feeling
otherwise. Motivation runs through her blood and she tries to spread that feeling to

others. She is extremely honest and compassionate, and because of all of these positive

attributes, she is generally well liked by everyone.

Jaeden’s values stem from her Christian faith. It is because of these values that she

hasn’t been strayed onto the wrong path. She deeply values honesty, and refuses to get

involved with dishonest people. She also values integrity, kindness, and acceptance.

Furthermore, she values cooking a lot! She plans to become an amazing Chef in the

future as well. She also lives by a set of morals and practices such as never giving up,

love others as you love yourself and to never be afraid to take the initiative. Jaeden

knows that she’s young and that there’s more lessons in life that she must be taught.
