There’s no better place to spend Spring Break than at Triple Tree Aerodrome! On the final
weekend of March, pilots from all over gathered at Triple Tree (SC00) to attend the 2nd Annual
Uncle John’s Fly-In.

The weekend featured all sorts of excitement including the fly-in, guest speakers, and meals
throughout the day. On Friday night, guest speaker Dale Ellis shared his experience as a Triple Tree
Volunteer and Retired Pilot – even retelling his story of coming face-to-face with a hijacker. Groups
from all over came to participate in the fly-in including the Clemson University Flight Club, Boy
Scout Troop 502, and the Roper Mountain Astronomy Club.

Pilots enjoyed dinner, camaraderie, and Triple Tree’s world-class campground! Gathering such as
these make Triple Tree the home of fun, fellowship, and hospitality!
