Boss: I need workers for my vineyard, but it'll take too long if I wait for applications
and wait for them to reach out..
Assistant: Well, I think our best bet is to find the workers we need ourselves .
Boss: I see then lets go to a place where we can find lots of variety of people we
can scout workers.
(Pumunta na sa market place)

MARKET SCENE
'as the boss and assistant exit the vine yard the wife and bystander 4 enter'
wife: How could you not consider our financial situation, are you really that
arrogant to just sit around anywhere and do nothing all day?!(galit)

bystander 4: I just need more time okay, its not easy to find a job these days( shout
na may sigh sa dulo)

wife: Whatever, But i need you to find a job by the end of this week or else im
getting a divorce.(sigh tapos galit na galit)
'wife exists the scene'

bystander 4: Fine be that way then.

'bystander 4 positions in the market'

‘Boss and assistant arrive but doesn't approach the bystanders immediately’

*Continue lang sa pag lalaro or sa pag act as tambay bago mag simulang sabihin
yung script nyo*
Bystander 1: goodness the day has been so dull. (Itatapon yung uno card habang
sinasabi yung script nya)
Bystander 2: probably because we don't do anything all day
Bystander 3: obviously its because we don't have jobs
‘All bystanders look at bystander 3 offended’
Bystander 5: HEY! It's not that bad, I mean sure we are useless people to society
but who cares? We're all gonna die anyway. *Naka tingin kay 3*
Bystander 4: don't be so dramatic just because you don't have a job. (Naka tingin
naman kay 5*
Bystander 6: you don't have a job too genius ‘eye roll’ (mataray na naka tingin kay 4*

.Assistant: Excuse us kind sirs/ma'ams pardon us for eavesdropping but we cant help
but hear that most of you are unemployed ?

Bystander 5: yeah but thats none of your business.

Bystander 1: pardon her but yes we are currently unemployed. (Parang ineexcuse sya
habang sinasabi mo to'*

Assistant: my boss has a proposal for you all if your interested.

Boss: i would like to hire you all as workers for my vineyard.and i will give you all a fair
wage each. (Then yung assistant binibigyan kayo ng parang resume)

(Yung mga manggagawa na hindi mag rereklamo parang sila talaga yung interested
while yung mga manggagawa na mag rereklamo parang wala silang pake sa sinasabi
namin and don sa resume not until narinig nila yung pera na ipapasweldo sa kanila)
The bystanders all give a nod of approval and acknowledgement

Bystander 1:all right we agree want to work for your vineyard. but me and my 2
companions will come in late, is that alright? (Papaiwan ka lang sa market)
boss: its alright the rest of you follow me (tas yung assistant parang inaassist yung
mga mangagawa na sumunod sa boss)

The boss then leads 356 to the vine yard where they will be working.

Boss: here is my vineyard and your work is to harvest the grapes, we will leave you
first and an hour before the end of the day we will come back to you (lalabas ng
room)

Bystander 3 5 6 continue to work for the whole afternoon immediately after the work
was assigned to them. (Pero gagawa pa kayo ng scene don na parang tatamad tamad
kayo ganon tas nag chichikahan pa)
Assistant: boss, here are the three workers who were left at the market and they are
here to work (kasama na sila 124)

Boss: okay take them to the part of the vineyard where they will work

the bystander 124 finally arrived and start to work at the last hour before the day
ends.
bystander 3 5 6 notice but ignored them and continued to work...

*THE DAY ENDS*

Boss: Call all the workers to line up and pay them each 600₱, start from last to first

Assistant calls the workers and asks them to line up for their payment

Bystander 5: Hold on just a second, only 600₱??! (Galit na)

bystander 3:The last arrivals only worked for one hour, while we worked all day and
endured the scorching heat of the sun, why do we all have the same amount?! (Galit na
mataray)

bystander 5: we would like to see the boss about our wages

assistant: alright, theres certainly no need for outburst ill call him to talk to you all-
*dumating na kagad si boss dahil narinig nya yung lakas ng boses nh mang gagawa*

boss: whats the meaning of this? (Mahinahon pa) the sun has almost set why haven't you
sent the workers off yet?

assistant: they have a complaint about their wages maam.

boss: alright what is it i have already issued my assistant to give you all fair wages so
what is the problem
bystander 3: No our wages aren't fair at all, while the last persons who came and also
worked for only an hour also received 600₱ , we worked diligently all day long. This is
not acceptable to us. (Defensive)

bystander 6:are u cheating us just to get low paying workers?! (Pasigaw)

boss:I am not cheating or being unfair to you everyone, so go ahead and accept the
one silver you agreed to. Are you saying that i didn't say i will give you all FAIR
WAGES.

assistant: my boss did say she will give you all fair wages, Did you really not pay
attention to the flyers we gave you? How ignorant (cross arms na may pasungit na
eyeroll)
the bystanders that complained all that speechless because the owner was right,

Bystander 5: all right fine i admit it shes right we took her offer to give us a job for
granted (na guilty na may sigh)

bystander 6: yeah it was a bit greedy for us to demand more pay than what was
agreed to.(sigh)
bystander 3: Yeah lets just go(guilty na nakauuko unti)
(Nakayuko at nagtinginan silang manggagawa sa isat isa tas mabagal na umalis)
'As bystander 124 watch the scene before them bystander 4 then thinks about him
and his wife and their situation, Their financial situation is not to be taken lightly and
