Rafionale Music has been a part of every Filipino’s daily existence. That is why, it has its share in the Philippine educational curriculum. Every activity could not start without music whether it is in classroom setting, offices or in any platform. Choral singing has been widely acknowledged and appreciated in our educational system especially in school choirs (youth and adults). Thus, choral competition has become ubiquitous in this level. This workshop is not limited to public schools only but this extends to private schools as well. Different musical genres have dominated prestigious competitions nationwide such as traditional and folk, religious, popljazz and foreign songs. However, teachers who are also conductors of their respective choirs possess limited knowledge in these genres. ~This 3-day training-workshop aims to enable teachers/conductors who lead their own choirs to know fundamentals in choral conducting, vocal and rehearsal techniques on how to sing foreign songs such as Spanish, French, Italian and German languages. This may help participants to be more competitive locally, nationally and even internationally. The pinnacle of this activity shall be the presentation of each teacher/conductor with their choir. Il.
