INSET ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

“Education is a continuous process”. Thus, we teachers need to engage inworkshops and training to
enhance our teaching skills. We are very fortunate that theDepartment of Education has given us the
opportunity to grow and develop our skills. This is the reason why FSCMS came up with a School Learning
Action Cell every Month.

With the trainings revolving on the theme, Teach for Excellence: A Call to High Quality
Retooling,Innovating and Transforming Education, this year’s INSET had 8 topics which will be conducted
through the collaborative efforts and partnership of teachers of FSCMS.

The SLAC sessions facilitated by the teachers have proven to be effective in engaging and emerging
a group of teachers in collaborating and solving shared challenges. SLAC sessions encourage critical
reflection amongst teachers which increases their knowledge and allow them to be more inspired, motivated
and equipped and updated with the teaching strategies and techniques responsive to the needs of diverse
learners of FSCMS.

Generally, the SLAC objectives has been met successfully. With high hopes the teachers believes
that the new learning will greatly benefit the learners of FSCMS.
