Questions:

1.) Would you choose local products over products from these foreign
countries?
- As tourism students we chose local products over foreign companies because our
group believes that local products should be supported and patronized by us so we
could help our local entrepreneurs. However, sometimes we also consider the quality
of the products that’s why we also purchased from foreign brands.

2.) With what that you have listed, do you have ideas where and when
companies started to produce goods?
- Yes, we have some background information about a local brand that we chose. For
example, the DBTK or Don’t Blame The Kid Apparel started in February 2012 by
the Brothers Emil and Vince Javier as a streetwear brand that spoke to the kids of
the future while incorporating trending styles of today.

3.) What do you think is the relation of consuming products to our subject?
- We think that through trading, collaboration, investment, and interaction in different
countries is the relation of consuming a product to our subject because it’s a process
there is a connection between people, companies, and government.

4.) What is the difference between the standard of living and quality of life?
- Our group thinks that the difference between a standard of living and quality of life is
that, Standard of living implies the level of welfare provided to the family or resident
in our country that is it may refer to all those goods and services that we are able to
consume. While the quality of life indicates that those persons are happy, stable,
contended, and satisfied with the life that they have,

5.) What are some ways you can assess the standard of living?
- We can assess the standard of living here in the Philippines through the
social hierarchy we have Upper Class, Middle Class, and Lower Class. For
example, is the Middle Class where the family has a stable job with a good
income, can sustain or attend school for education, and can eat three times a
day.
