Dear Hon. Binay,

This has reference to the your proposed revision of Zoning Ordinance (ZO) revision of the
City of Makatisubmitted to this Office last ____ for review and approval. Based on our
evaluation, a clarificatory meeting with Pursuant to Section 25.1.4 of the Implementing Rules
and Regulations of Republic Act No. 11201 (or the Department of Human Settlements and
Urban Development (DHSUD) Act) and to DHSUD Memorandum Circular No. 2021-005, the
National Capital Region (NCR) Office of DHSUD, together with our Environmental, Land Use
and Urban Planning and Development Bureau (ELUPDB) and the Metropolitan Manila
Development Authority (MMDA), ) is deemed necessary to discuss the following
concerns:shall conduct review of the ZO of Metro Manila Cities and Municipality.

1. Updating of Makati City's CLUP which will expire in 2023 to align with the new provisions
in the ZO;
2. Clarification on specific uses of identified lots within the CBD;
3. Inclusion of the Revised Makati City Recreational Open Space for a Residential Area
(ROSRA), Recreational and Open Space zones in the revised ZO;
4. Clarifications on the conditions established by the Special Body on Land Use Zoning
(SBLUZ);
5. Inclusion of additional principal/accessory/special uses (i.e., Market, Parking Structure)
6. Clarification on the exemptions established for projects under Public-Private Partnership
(PPP)

Relative thereto, may we invite you to a Joint Technical Reviewthe concerned


departments/divisions in your Office to be conducted virtually via Zoom. Please see below
forto a virtual meeting the meeting with the following details.
