Sahaja Yoga is a branch of Yoga Science, revealed by Her Holiness Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi in 1970 as a simple
and effective way to realize the Self, and live in the realm of Reality. Shri Mataji revealed Sahaja Yoga for the
entire humanity saying that Self Realization is the birth right of every human being, and Sahaja Yoga knowledge
should be imparted without charging anything.

Sahaja Yoga is being practised by human beings across the globe, in more than 150 countries, irrespective of
their caste, creed and religion. Sahaja Yoga National Trust, New Delhi coordinates the activities in India.

Having realised the benefits of Sahaja Yoga, the governments of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have granted
permission to conduct Sahaja Yoga Meditation in all the educational institutions in these states.

All India Council for Technical Education has also granted permission to conduct Sahaja Yoga sessions in the
Technical institutions all over India.

Following is the information as to how Sahaja Yoga can be beneficial to your organization:

• Sahaja Yoga is purely experiential and has the great potential to draw the attention of the
practitioner inward, and to the reality. The Primordial Energy that gets awakened through
Sahaja Yoga initiation grants two major advantages to the practitioner, viz. effortlessness
and thoughtlessness. Pure meditation should be effortless, and the thoughtlessness is the
door to pure meditative state.
• The practitioner attains a dimension through which the Chaithanyam, the cool breeze, can
be experienced in the central nervous system.
• The Chaithanyam cleanses the attention, and subtle centres in the subtle body. This
cleansing leads to expansion of consciousness towards divinity, and divine qualities of
love, compassion, humility, forgiveness etc. become evident in the behaviour.

state of the awareness so that the practitioner can be free of all limiting factors and live a
natural and pure life with a true perspective of oneself and the life situations. The

tensions, fears, unhealthy competitions etc. that drain the energy.

• By spending 10 minutes daily in Sahaja Yoga meditation, which can be done anywhere,
tremendous improvement in the physical, mental, intellectual, emotional and spiritual
realms can be achieved.
• Even the students in Pre-KG and KG can meditate, as the Primordial energy does the job.
The small kids enjoy Sahaja Yoga as they experience immense bliss and peace
effortlessly as the Primordial Energy wakes up in them easily because of their innocent
nature.
