O Allah, I beseech You and turn my face toward You ‫ﻴﻚ‬ ‫ ﹺﺇﹶﻟ‬‫ﺟﻪ‬
 ‫ﹶﺗﻮ‬‫ﺍ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ﺎﹸﻟﻚ‬
 ‫ﺳ‬‫ ﹺﺇﻧﱢﻲ ﺍ‬‫ﻬﻢ‬ ‫ﺍﹶﻟ ﱠﻠ‬
in the name of Your Prophet; the Prophet of Mercy, ‫ﺔ‬ ‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﺣ‬
 ‫ ﭐﻟﺮ‬‫ ﹶﻧ ﹺﺒﻲ‬‫ﻴﻚ‬ ‫ﹺﺑ ﹶﻨ ﹺﺒ‬
Mu¦ammad—may Allah send blessings to him and his
Household. ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﻟ‬‫ﺁ‬‫ﻪ ﻭ‬ ‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﻋ ﹶﻠ‬ ‫ﺻ ﱠﻠﻰٰ ﭐﻟ ﱠﻠﻪ‬

O Ab£’l-Q¡sim! ‫ﻢ‬
‫ﺳﹺ‬ ‫ﺎ ﭐﹾﻟﻘﹶﺎ‬‫ﺍﺑ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻳ‬
O Allah’s Messenger! ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﻝ ﭐﻟ ﱠﻠ‬
‫ﻮ ﹶ‬‫ﺳ‬‫ﺎ ﺭ‬‫ﻳ‬
O Chief of Mercy! ‫ﺔ‬ ‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﺣ‬
 ‫ ﭐﻟﺮ‬‫ﺎﻡ‬‫ﺎ ﹺﺇﻣ‬‫ﻳ‬
O our master and chief! ‫ﻻَﻧﹶﺎ‬‫ﻣﻮ‬ ‫ﻧﹶﺎ ﻭ‬‫ﻴﺪ‬ ‫ﺳ‬
 ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻳ‬
We are turning our faces toward you, seeking your
intercession ‫ﻌﻨﹶﺎ‬ ‫ﺸ ﹶﻔ‬
‫ﺳ ﹶﺘ ﹾ‬
 ‫ﭐ‬‫ﻬﻨﹶﺎ ﻭ‬ ‫ﺟ‬

 ‫ﹶﺗﻮ‬‫ﻭ‬

O commander of the Believers! ‫ﻣ ﹺﻨﻴﻦ‬ ‫ﺆ‬ ‫ﻤ‬ ‫ ﭐﹾﻟ‬‫ﻣﻴﺮ‬ ‫ﺎ ﺍ‬‫ﻳ‬
O `Al¢, son of Ab£-±¡lib! ‫ﺐ‬
‫ﻟ ﹴ‬‫ﹺﺑﻲ ﻃﹶﺎ‬‫ ﺍ‬‫ﺑﻦ‬ ‫ﻠﻲ‬ ‫ﻋ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻳ‬
O Allah’s Argument against His creatures! ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﻘ‬ ‫ﺧ ﹾﻠ‬

O F¡§imah, the Luminous Lady! ‫ﺍ ُﺀ‬‫ﻫﺮ‬ ‫ﻤ ﹸﺔ ﭐﻟ ﱠﺰ‬ ‫ﻃ‬ ‫ﺎ ﻓﹶﺎ‬‫ﻳ‬

O daughter of Mu¦ammad! ‫ﺪ‬

‫ﺎ ﹺﺑ ﹾﻨ ﹶ‬‫ﻳ‬
O delight of the Messenger’s eyes! ‫ﻝ‬
‫ﻮ ﹺ‬‫ﺳ‬‫ﻦ ﭐﻟﺮ‬
‫ﻴ ﹺ‬ ‫ﻋ‬ ‫ ﹶﺓ‬‫ﺎ ﹸﻗﺮ‬‫ﻳ‬
O our chief! ‫ﻻﹶﺗﻨﹶﺎ‬
‫ﻮ ﹶ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﹶﺗﻨﹶﺎ ﻭ‬‫ﻴﺪ‬ ‫ﺳ‬
 ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻳ‬

O Allah’s Argument against His creatures! ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﻘ‬ ‫ﺧ ﹾﻠ‬
‫ﻋ ﹶﻠﻰٰ ﹶ‬ ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﺠ ﹶﺔ ﭐﻟ ﱠﻠ‬
‫ﺣ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻳ‬
O our master and chief! ‫ﻻَﻧﹶﺎ‬‫ﻣﻮ‬ ‫ﻧﹶﺎ ﻭ‬‫ﻴﺪ‬ ‫ﺳ‬
 ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻳ‬
we are turning our faces toward you, seeking your
intercession ‫ﻌﻨﹶﺎ‬ ‫ﺸ ﹶﻔ‬
‫ﺳ ﹶﺘ ﹾ‬

O Riser, Awaited, and Well-guided! ‫ﺪﻱ‬

 ‫ﺷ ﹶﻔ‬
‫ﹺﺇ ﹾ‬

O my chiefs and masters! ‫ﻟﻲ‬‫ﺍ‬‫ﻣﻮ‬ ‫ﺗﻲ ﻭ‬‫ﺎﺩ‬‫ﺎ ﺳ‬‫ﻳ‬

I am turning my face toward Allah in the names of you [all], ‫ﻢ‬
‫ﻜ‬
‫ﺖ ﹺﺑ ﹸ‬
‫ﻬ ﹸ‬ ‫ﺟ‬
 ‫ﹺﺇﻧﱢﻲ ﹶﺗﻮ‬

for you are my leaders and my supporters ‫ﺗﻲ‬‫ﻋﺪ‬ ‫ﺘﻲ ﻭ‬ ‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﺋ‬‫ﺍ‬
on the day of my destitution and neediness ‫ﺘﻲ‬ ‫ﺟ‬
 ‫ﺎ‬‫ﺣ‬‫ﻮ ﹺﻡ ﹶﻓ ﹾﻘ ﹺﺮﻱ ﻭ‬ ‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﻟ‬
before Allah. ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﹺﺇﹶﻟﻰٰ ﭐﻟ ﱠﻠ‬
I am seeking your advocacy for me before Allah ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﻢ ﹺﺇﹶﻟﻰٰ ﭐﻟ ﱠﻠ‬
‫ﻜ‬
‫ﺖ ﹺﺑ ﹸ‬
‫ﺳ ﹾﻠ ﹸ‬
 ‫ﹶﺗﻮ‬‫ﻭ‬
and seeking your intercession for me before Allah; ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﻢ ﹺﺇﹶﻟﻰٰ ﭐﻟ ﱠﻠ‬
‫ﻜ‬‫ﺖ ﹺﺑ ﹸ‬
‫ﻌ ﹸ‬ ‫ﺸ ﹶﻔ‬
‫ﺳ ﹶﺘ ﹾ‬
 ‫ﭐ‬‫ﻭ‬
so, (please) intercede for me before Allah ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ ﭐﻟ ﱠﻠ‬‫ﻋ ﹾﻨﺪ‬ ‫ﻲ‬‫ﻮﺍ ﻟ‬‫ﺷ ﹶﻔﻌ‬
‫ﹶﻓﭑ ﹾ‬
and save me from my sins before Allah, ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ ﭐﻟ ﱠﻠ‬‫ﻋ ﹾﻨﺪ‬ ‫ﻦ ﹸﺫﻧﹸﻮﹺﺑﻲ‬
 ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻘﺬﹸﻭﹺﻧﻲ‬ ‫ﺳ ﹶﺘ ﹾﻨ‬
 ‫ﭐ‬‫ﻭ‬
for you are my means to Allah ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﺘﻲ ﹺﺇﹶﻟﻰٰ ﭐﻟ ﱠﻠ‬ ‫ﺳﻴ ﹶﻠ‬‫ﻢ ﻭ‬
‫ﻜ‬‫ﹶﻓﺈﱠﻧ ﹸ‬
and through my love for you and my seeking nearness to you
do I hope for salvation from Allah. ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ ﭐﻟ ﱠﻠ‬‫ﻣﻦ‬ ‫ﺎ ﹰﺓ‬‫ﻮ ﹶﻧﺠ‬‫ﺭﺟ‬ ‫ﻢ ﺍ‬
‫ﻜ‬‫ﺮﹺﺑ ﹸ‬ ‫ﹺﺑ ﹸﻘ‬‫ﻢ ﻭ‬
‫ﻜ‬‫ﺒ ﹸ‬ ‫ﺤ‬
 ‫ﹺﺑ‬‫ﻭ‬
So, be my hope before Allah. ‫ﺋﻲ‬‫ﺎ‬‫ﺟ‬‫ﻪ ﺭ‬ ‫ ﭐﻟ ﱠﻠ‬‫ﻋ ﹾﻨﺪ‬ ‫ﹶﻓﻜﹸﻮﻧﹸﻮﺍ‬
O my masters! O Allah’s intimate servants! ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﺎ َﺀ ﭐﻟ ﱠﻠ‬‫ﻟﻴ‬‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﺎ ﺍ‬‫ﺗﻲ ﻳ‬‫ﺎﺩ‬‫ﺎ ﺳ‬‫ﻳ‬
May Allah bless you all ‫ﻌﻴﻦ‬‫ﺟﻤ‬
 ‫ﻢ ﺍ‬
 ‫ﻴ ﹺﻬ‬ ‫ﻋ ﹶﻠ‬ ‫ﺻ ﱠﻠﻰٰ ﭐﻟ ﱠﻠﻪ‬
‫ﹶ‬
and may Allah curse the enemies of Allah; those who wronged
you, ‫ﻢ‬
 ‫ﻤﻴ ﹺﻬ‬ ‫ﻟ‬‫ﻪ ﻇﹶﺎ‬ ‫ﺍ َﺀ ﭐﻟ ﱠﻠ‬‫ﻋﺪ‬ ‫ ﺍ‬‫ ﭐﻟ ﱠﻠﻪ‬‫ﻌﻦ‬ ‫ﹶﻟ‬‫ﻭ‬
from the past and the last generations. ‫ﺧ ﹺﺮﻳﻦ‬
 ‫ﭐﻵ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ﻟﻴﻦ‬‫ﻻﻭ‬
 ‫ ﭐ‬‫ﻣﻦ‬
Respond to us, O Lord of the Worlds! ‫ﺎﻟﹶﻤﻴﻦ‬‫ ﭐﹾﻟﻌ‬‫ﺏ‬‫ ﺭ‬‫ﻣﻴﻦ‬ ‫ﺁ‬
