PREPARED FOR: CUSTODIO, KRISTINE
PREPARED BY: PRINCESA, RENZ B.
Year and Section: TCIE 1-2

1. Dr. Paulo C. Campos led the advancements in nuclear medicine and the first

radionuclide laboratory in the Philippines and is called “The Father of Nuclear

Medicine” and founded the Medical Center Manila located in Ermita.

2. He is credited for the first radioisotope research laboratory and conducted the

treatment using iodized oil for patients suffering from goiter.

3. He helped the government put up a college in Cavite which was to be a copy of

EAC that we have set up in Manila. This was received by the government

enthusiastically. My efforts were rewarded with strong government support,

including permission to open the full range academic success. In the years 1976 to

1978 we built in this campus over a dozen school facilities including an

administration building, dormitories, an Olympic oval, a landscaped campus and a

lake. There was a network of roads that covered the whole campus and dormitories.

4. Dr. Paulo campos is also known for using his knowledge and expertise in helping

fellow Filipinos. He conducted a medical outreach program called as

Comprehensive Community Health Program which also served as a local health

center in several towns in Laguna.

5. Born to Ms. Luisa Matro Campana and Mr. Jose Sayoto Campos Sr., Dr. Paulo

Campos lived a peaceful and humble life along with his younger brother, Atty. Jose

Campos Jr. who served in Supreme Court from 1992-1993.

6. Emilio Aguinaldo College – Cavite was founded by Dr. Paulo Campos when he was

the president of the college as the second campus in 1979.

7. On October 21 1979, the Emilio Aguinaldo College Foundation, Inc was established

at Dasmarinas, Cavite, thus giving birth to the Emilio Aguinaldo College of Medicine

with Dr, Lourdes E. Campos as Dean. In 1987, The Emilio Aguinaldo College

Campus, College of Medicine, and the University Medical Center to De La Salle

University and focused on the development of EAC – Manila.

8. Emilio Aguinaldo Emilio Aguinaldo College envisions itself as an internationally

recognized private non-sectarian academic institution rooted in the Filipino

nationalist tradition that consistently pursues the advancement and welfare of

humanity and our mission is to provide a learner-centered, inquiry-based, and

socially relevant academic community.

The most memorable place for me inside the campus would be the vacant area

beside Building 7. Me and my classmates always take our lunch there and spend

our free time when we don’t have classes. Everyone has a special place that people

will never forget. Sometimes it is because these were the places that we

experienced great joy and comfort. This place represents every memory that I have

with my classmates, which I also treated as my family. Since the campus has been

my second home, this vacant spot that may seem ordinary to other people served

as our comfort zone. This is where we shared our laughter, tears, listened to each

other stories, and shared our piece of advice to help overcome each other's

problems and shortcomings. I would never forget that special place because of

things that has been going on which represents our love and support to each other.
The beginning of my school life in Emilio Aguinaldo College is currently the most

wonderful period in my life. Aside from getting the education that I will need in my

current work, I learned a lot of things from the school environment including

patience, sincerity, loyalty, humility, discipline and friendship. I always thought that

with my current age, I know everything that I need in life to survive, what I need to

do well on the job that I currently have now. But these new people I met made me

realize that it's not to late for me to dream bigger, to become something greater than

what I am right now. Every night I used to pray that I'd find my people. And finally, I

did, on the open road. We had nothing to lose, nothing to gain, but so much desire

for our dreams and opportunities to come. And to make our lives into a work of art.

Live fast, enjoy our time being here, and have fun. I believe in the dream Emilio

Aguinaldo College have for us. I believe in the person that I want to become

someday. I believe in the freedom of the open road when we all have graduated.

And My motto would be as the same as ever, "I believe in the kindness of people".

So, no matter what happens when we all have to part ways and take our own

professional paths, this will remain a special place in our hearts. I will keep all the

joy, all the laughter, all the pain, and also the number of triumphs we achieved and

share on this, as you may say, a simple spot beside Building 7. And I'll keep this

question that I used to have on my self, "Who am I?", "Have I been in touch with my

dreams and passion?", "Have I created a life where I had experience them?" and

finally tell myself, "I have". The future stretches before me, waiting for me to create

the work of art that will become my life, until we succeed.
