A tsunami is a catastrophic ocean wave.

This is caused by sudden motion on the
ocean floor. This sudden motion could be
an earthquake, a powerful volcanic
eruption.  Over 80% of tsunamis are
caused by earthquakes. But landslides,
volcanoes, weather and even asteroids
can also generate tsunamis. Most
