BEFORE HEADING UP, OPERATIONS TO CHECK ALL DRAINS, DRAW-OFFS, GAUGE GLASSES, LEVEL AND
PRESSURE LEADS CLEAR. MAINTENANCE TO CLEAR IF NECESSARY.
OPERATIONS TO VERIFY HEADING UP OF EACH INDIVIDUAL COLUMN DECK MAN WAY.
FOR COLLECTOR TRAYS IN VACUUM COLUMN AND PARTITION BAFFLES WHEREVER APPLICABLE, THE
TEST WATER SHALL BE HELD FOR 20 MINUTES WITH THEIR DRAIN HOLES CLOSED, AND THERE SHALL BE
ZERO DROP IN LEVEL I.E. NO LEAK. THE TYPICAL WATER LEVEL DURING THE TEST SHOULD BE AT LEAST
UP TO THE HIGH OPERATING LEVEL DURING NORMAL OPERATION OR UP TO THE FIRST WELDING LINE
OR UP TO THE MAXIMUM POSSIBLE LEVEL.
FOR PARTIAL DRAW-OFF TRAY / SUMPS AND SEAL PANS IN COLUMNS AND STRIPPERS, THE TEST WATER
SHALL BE FILLED UP TO THE TOP WELD JOINT OR 300 MM (WHICHEVER IS HIGHER) AND HELD FOR 20
MINUTES WITH THEIR DRAIN HOLES CLOSED, AND THE DROP IN WATER LEVEL SHALL NOT BE MORE
THAN 25 MM.

5.6. BOTTOM TUBES, SPECIFICALLY TUBE NO. 71 TO 75 AND 96 TO 100 MUST BE GRIT BLASTED TO REMOVE
THE OXIDATION HARD SCALES. Scope was decided based on OCT/NOV 2020 SD. No additional tube
expected.
5.7. ANTICIPATE RENEWING TUBE NO. 75 & 100 (P5, 7” OD) AND TUBE NO. 99 & 74 (P5, 6” OD) BASIS
OXIDATION. REPLACEMENT INVOLVES PROCUREMENT OF 2 OFF 5” TUBES (#73 & #98), 2 OFF 6” TUBES
(#74 & #99), 2 OFF 7” TUBES (#75 & #100), 2 OFF TUBE HEADER (#73 - #74 & #98 - #99) to connect 5”
and 6” tubes, 2 OFF TUBE HEADER (#74 - #75 & #99 - #100) to connect 6” and 7” tubes. Scope on Outlet
terminal header with flange to be confirmed. PED to provide Material ordering specification and PTO for

1.7 MODIFY 1/2” HGC CIRCULATION LINE FROM 22E22 TO UPPER ELEVATION. (SAFETY ISSUE) PTO 05-

1.8 RENEW TWO 36” FLANGES OF 24C1 VAPOUR LINE. (BAD ACTOR- LEAKING) – Basis joint Team site
visit dated 14-12-2021, Team agreed that the subject non-standard flanges gasket face will be
inspected and repaired (WBU and machining), if required. Vertical section of the piping will be cut to
make provision for inspection and repairs to gasket faces. Subsequently, the piping will be restored
and the weld joints will be treated as Golden joint as this O/H line is directly welded to 24C1 column
and hydro test is not possible.
1.9 REFER TO BELOW P&ID. HYDROJET/ PROVE CLEAR REUSED WATER PIPES. CARRY OUT SECTIONAL
REPLACEMENT OF THE CORRODED 3” PIPING AS MARKED AT SITE USING 3” x SCH 80 CS PIPING &
CARRY OUT HYDROTEST AT 450 PSIG. Explore the possibility of providing flanged piping using 3” x
Sch 80 SOFF flanges.

SERVICE TEST (AROUND 30 PSI) THE SUPPLY AND RETURN HEADERS DURING SD MAINTENANCE
WINDOW. SD Team will review on possibility of the same.
3. DROP VALVES/ INSTALL BLINDS OR BOILER MAKERS (FABRICATED FROM PLATES)/ TEMPORARY
JUMP OVER FROM SUPPLY TO RETURN LINES AS REQUIRED. OPD confirmed that this service test
during SD does not require manpower evacuation.
3.2 REMOVE INSPECTOR ALL PLUGS, SMALL BORE CONNECTION AND SCREWED FITTING FOR
INSPECTION OF ANY CORRODED THREADS.
3.3 CHECK ALL SALTWATER NIPPLES ARE OF BRASS OR SS316L MATERIAL.
7. 22L29980 PREFLASH OVERHEAD AND STABILISED LSR (RMD Note: SPLIT OPEN THE
IDENTIFIED PIPE SECTION AS PER RMD L&F INSPECTOR AND SPLIT OPEN/ BLAST CLEAN FOR
RECORDING THE FINDINGS.)

7.5 CORROSION INHIBITOR QUILL TO BE INSPECTED AND IF FOUND CHOKED, SAMPLE TO BE HANDED
OVER TO TSD FOR FURTHER ANALYSIS
7.6 PROVIDE SAMPLE POINT FOR STABILIZER OFF GAS AND STABILIZER LIQUID. MOC: 20190558, PTO:

7.7 PROCURE 3 OFF 12” GATE VALVES (WITH MONEL TRIM) AT SHELL INLET OF 22E5A (SOUTH) AND
22E5C (NORTH AND SOUTH) – MOC#20210045.
7.8 VISUALLY INSPECT AND USFD GAUGE/SCAN THE 2" WATER WASH LINE ATTACHED TO 22C1 O/H
LINE.
7.9 SECTIONAL REPLACEMENT OF PRE-FLASH OVHD CS SECTION LINE BASED ON RMD GAUGING
RESULTS. (Updated based on RMD mail dtd 21-06-2021).
8.4. PROCURE THREE NOS OF 5%CR VALVE INSTALLED BETWEEN TML 1 & 15 BASIS INSPECTION
