Q1.) What is Non – institutional Correction?

 When we say Non – institutional Correction it is focus on to community-based


programs and services that are used to resolve legal matters outside of a
traditional correctional setting such as a jail or prison. Examples of non-
institutional corrections include probation, parole, electronic monitoring,
treatment programs, community service, and alternative sentencing. These
forms of corrections emphasize rehabilitation and reintegration into society, as
opposed to traditional forms of incarceration.

Q2.) What are the advantages of community base correction?

 The advantages or the benefit of it are Improved public safety which is


Community-based corrections enable courts to provide alternative sentencing
options for individuals who may pose a lower risk and need support to
reintegrate into society. It Cost savings, Community-based corrections are
generally less expensive than traditional incarceration methods and can help
reduce overcrowding in correctional facilities and also Reduced recidivism
which is Community-based corrections provide individuals with access to
resources and support that can help reduce the risk of re-offending and also
Improved well-being which is Community-based corrections allow individuals
to remain connected to their community, maintain relationships with family
and friends, and receive treatment and support services that can help reduce
the risk of future criminal behavior.
