D. BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

Please briefly I am part of a group of schools that belong to “Escola Básica Integrada Roberto

Classes are taught by certified teachers in mainstream education, educational
support teachers, English and physical education teachers approved by the
Ministry of Education or the Regional Board of Education. When students require
assistance, there is a psychology and psychomotor service available, early
intervention according to their needs. Many of the activities that take place in the
Preschool level have to do with areas of children’s developments – personal and
social training, knowledge of the world and expressions.
We have got a common project for the development of phonological awareness in
children aged 5. I also work a lot on storytelling, sustainability, waste, the
importance of recycling, traditions, and emotions. We practice Physical Education
twice a week in the school’s multipurpose area. We like to share what we do with the
