What are the health effects of


vaping?
Vaping has both short term and long term effects.
The short term effects include headache, cough,
nausea, and irritation of the throat and mouth. Long
term include acquiring diseases like cancer,
cardiovascular, respiratory, and others.

What does vaping do to your lungs?


When you vape, you are exposing your body to
harmful chemicals that causes damage in your lungs
such as diacetyl, formaldehyde, acrolein. The
exposure of this chemicals can cause lung
inflammation, damage to lung tissue, and an
increased risk of respiratory infections.

What could cause lung damage that


we are exposed to?
We are often exposed to dust, pollen, mold, dirt, soil,
ashes, and soot. These particles in the air come from
factories, smokestacks, exhaust, fires, mining,
construction, and agriculture, etc. When we inhale them
they can cause inflammation and damage to the lungs
over time.

What can we do to protect


our lungs?
There are several things one can do in order to
protect the respiratory system such as:

Not smoking, Avoid exposure to air pollution, Eat


healthy, Exercise, Having good hygiene
