F15AG Assignment

Notable quotes:
 "The idea is you have to generate a lot of garbage to reach greatness"
 "Most originals are procrastinators, they're constantly putting things off…. If you procrastinate a
little bit, you will generate more creative ideas than if you dive right into a task or finish it right
away. The reason for this is simple…. If they put off the start or completion of the task a little bit,
they allowed themselves to access more diverse ideas and they saw possibilities that I wouldn't
have seen because our first ideas are our most conventional typically. You have to sort of weed
out the familiar in order to get to the much more unusual and original."
 "I think of strategic procrastination as essentially this idea of waiting for the right time."
 "When Rufus acknowledges the weaknesses of his idea, he looks like he's self-critical and
honest."

Importance to me:
This point is important to me because I internalize the idea of being a strategic procrastinator. I most
often tend to leave the tasks I need to complete to the "right time" - I don't like diving into a task right
away, so it tends to be constantly on my mind which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Like Adam said "when
you leave it incomplete, you are constantly processing it and seeing new possibilities" which ultimately
gives you a fresh/different perspective that you may have not considered before. I think this is
important because it allows you to consider a task and generate more in-depth ideas/possibilities that
you may have not gotten if you complete the task right away.
