CAREER-RELATED ACTIVITIES FOR GRADE 12 STUDENTS

BACKGROUND:
 The k to 12 Program covers Kindergarten and 12 years of basic education is to provide sufficient time for
mastery of concepts and skills, develop lifelong learners, and prepared graduates for tertiary education,
middle-level skills development, employment, and entrepreneurship.
 Students undergo immersion, which may include earn-while-you-learn opportunities, to provide them relevant
exposure and actual experience in their chosen track.
 Opportunities under k to 12 program is Entrepreneurship course, instead of being employed, the student can
choose to start their own business after graduating, or choose to further their education by going to college

AGREEMENTS:
1. Student under technical vocational livelihood (TVL) they will have immersion.
 The TVL student will be divided into two groups the HE (home economics) and ICT (information,
communication, tectnology)
 The immersion will last 80 hours.
 In order to monitor the performance of the student they will bring DTR and evaluation form to
their respective assignment.
 HE and ICT students will create resumes that will be reviewed by Ma’am Guitan.
 The HE student will complete their immersion in KEOPI shop in Lozaraga St. Labo Camarines
Norte
 The ICT student will be assign in different location. Some of the student will be assign in
Techxpert shop located in Bgry Anahaw Labo Camarines Norte, CNC library and Administration
Office.
 Their task is to give support to their respective assignment and to enhance their skills

2. Student under Accountancy, Business and Administration (ABM) track


 Student of ABM track will do a business simulation conducted inside the school facility.
 They will be divided into several groups; each group will present their own product to the faculty for
the approval or suggestion. The final product will be display in their shop
 The product must be unique and innovative
 Aside by their own product they can sell different kinds of food
 The place of business stall is not yet final
 The purpose of this activity is to develop their creativity, communication skill and team work

3. Student under Humanities and Social Science (HUMSS)


 Student of HUMSS will do a Portfolio of their performance in first and second semester
 They will choose among their outputs which are the best or they get a high score. For instance,
resume, research, summative exam project and etc.
 They will give reflection in each output they choose.

4. Student under Science, Technology, Engineering and mathematics (STEM) and General Academic Strand
(GAS)
 The student of STEM and GAS will do a research paper
 The Class of STEM and GAS will be divided in four groups
 The research paper is divided into five chapter,
 They will first defend their title and the topic they want to discuss
 Before the end of second semester they will have final defense
