Are the nation-states still relevant in the face of globalization?

Yes. I believe nation states are still relevant as of now. As we all know, our nation has
ratified a number of treaties that have normalized trade and interstate flows, significantly
raising the standard of living for many. Our globalizing world has benefited greatly from
other transnational agreements like the United Nations and its agencies, the World
Bank and regional banks, multinational NGOs and charities, as well as shared
technologies and information exchanges. Political states made up of groups of people
with similar cultures help to preserve distinctive historical values, customs, and
environmental adaptations. Each one stands for a distinctive way of life that ought to be
preserved as the world develops.

However, as the world develops and time passes, nation-states' roles will inevitably
change as a result of an unending process of globalization. It seems as though the state
will be compelled to change in order to be in line with the ideology of the agenda being
played out, in the form of a new direction for the government, especially when there is
this much change over a decade or years. Consequently, it lost some of its significance
as they provide alternative means of advancing into an unknown or new future.
