Job Title : Instrument & Control Technician

Education : Diploma or ITI in Instrumentation / Electronics

Minimum Experience:

 Minimum 4 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemical, Fertilizer industry in
maintenance department.

Technical Skills:

 Basic PC skills are essential.

 Hands on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of all types of field
instruments, control valves, transmitters (HART / FF) and other field instruments and
machine monitoring devices.
 Hands on experience in maintenance and troubleshooting Tank Gauging field Instrument
devices.
 Hands on experience in calibration and configuration of field instrument devices.
 Hands on experience in troubleshooting on Instrument devices, performing preventive and
corrective maintenance activities in operational plant.
 Proficiency in interpreting loop drawings, wiring diagram and PID and utilizing them in day-
to-day troubleshooting activities.
 Hands on experience in maintenance of PDP and power distribution circuit to
Instrumentation panel and JB downstream to PDP.
 Monitor process control systems such using diagnostic software and ensure their optimum
functionality.
 Hands on experience in maintenance and troubleshooting YOKOGAWA, DCS & SIS; ALLEN-
BRADLEY, SIEMENS, HIMA PLC; Woodward Governor; CCC Anti-surge Controllers and other
control systems; and Tank Gauging system.
 Hands on experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware of complex
turbomachinery control systems and Vibration monitoring systems.
 Hands on experience in performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities on
control systems hardware, software and applications.
 Hands on experience in taking application and configuration backup of PLC, HMI and
specialized standalone controllers.
 Hands on experience in maintenance of PDP and power distribution circuit to control
systems, RIO and marshalling cabinets downstream to PDP.
