About Rural Rehabilitation Association for Afghanistan:
Rural Rehabilitation Association for Afghanistan (RRAA) is a non-profit, non-
governmental, and non-political NGO established in 1990. The head office of the
organization is located in Kabul, Afghanistan, and delivers humanitarian services in the
sectors of Civil Society, Health and Livelihood through its four regional offices in Mazar,
Herat, Jalalabad, and central zone in a decentralized manner.

 
Job Description:
As part of RRAA’s humanitarian response program team, the MEAL Officer will be
monitoring the project activities, sharing findings, providing feedback, find possible
solutions in close consultation with the project team and manager.  The MEAL officer
will also be responsible for recording, analyzing, and responding to the complaints from
beneficiaries and staff. The position is based in Nangahar province with trips to targeted
districts and communities. 

1. Manage MEAL mechanism and activities of the project

2. To establish, manage and strengthen Accountability to Beneficiaries and their capacity
building
3. Conduct regular monitoring of the project activities and share findings and suggestions
4. Conduct follow-up of monitoring visits and take action according to plan.
5. Implement RRAA Complaint Response Mechanism (CRM). Manage complaints properly,
analyze and respond in a timely manner.
6. Maintain CRM tracking database and follow up on complaints to reach a resolution
involving relevant project staff;
7. To assist in planning and implementation of baseline surveys, monitoring and evaluation
exercises
8. Responsible for proper mobilization and awareness-raising of community members and
target beneficiaries on CRM.
9. Monitor the process of surveys and assessments in the communities and provide feedback
and suggestions on project smooth implementation.
10. Ensure accountability and transparency is in place in the selection of project beneficiaries,
cash and seeds distributions.
11. Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports.
12. Any other task is given by the line manager.

 
Job Requirements:
 Good English, Pashto and Dari language skills
 Good communication and reporting skills
 Data analysis skill

 Ability to travel frequently, and spend time in the filed

 Ability to work under pressure
 Ability to work with KOBO software
