1. What is the issue or problem depicted in the photography?

The issue or problem depicted in this digital art picture is how AI art tools can instantly alter an
artist’s career and passion. This is one of the concern in the modern era as the AI tools continues to
advance that will possibly takes over and dominates the field, and the essence of creativity will be lost.

2. How does this particular issue and problem impact the well-being of humans today?

While some people may use AI art platforms for fun, for other artists it poses a threatening to
their jobs and livelihoods, and also AI is a violation of an artist copyright. Al art tools have been informed
and educated using art that belongs to someone else, it was done without express permission, and then
allow users to create art using an artist's name or style as a prompt is a violation of an artist's copyright
and is obviously unethical. Moreover, many people have aspirations of working in concept art or as a
digital artist who receives art commissions, for example. Because technology can produce art more
quickly and cheaply than humans, these devoted digital artists will be forced to lose their employment.
This issue brings awareness that in future literary text, music, or any form of art can also have a chance
to stole and replace by artificial intelligence if we will not take any actions towards AI platforms harmful
impacts.

3. Why is it important for people to study and learn about STS as academic field, especially in
addressing the issue or problem depicted in the image?

It is important for people to learn and study STS as academic field especially in addressing the
issue in the image about AI art tools to raise a concern about its ethical issue and the possible result will
happen if the innovation will continue. It will also develop students' social responsibility, critical thinking
and decision-making skills, the ability to formulate sound ethical and moral decisions about issues
arising from the impact of science on our daily lives, and lastly, it also develops students' knowledge,
skills, and confidence to express opinions and ideas, it is important to learn STS not only in the academic
field but also in addressing the issue depicted in the photograph.
