The Curriculum in each country is unique and varies from culture to culture.

In Philippines, we
have the K-12 curriculum. Five years ago, the Philippines, the only nation in Southeast Asia to offer
merely 10 years of basic education to its citizens. Now, since the introduction of the K–12 system, the
nation has joined its neighbours in embracing a new educational model that will give children greater
chances on a global scale. In order to give students enough time to master concepts and skills, foster
lifelong learners, and prepare graduates for tertiary education, middle-level skill development,
employment, and entrepreneurship, the K to 12 Program covers Kindergarten and 12 years of
fundamental education (six years of primary education, four years of junior high school, and two years
of senior high school [SHS]).
The K–12 program provides pupils with a free 12-year curriculum designed to provide them
enough time to master skills and develop fundamental competences in order to be globally competitive.
Even if they plan to continue their education after high school, students in the new system will be
prepared with the knowledge and abilities needed for employment, entrepreneurship, middle-level skill
development, and higher education. With the new curriculum, graduates are completely prepared with
the abilities necessary to compete on a global scale and stand out in their field. By increasing the
reciprocal recognition of Filipino graduates and professionals abroad, the K to 12 program fosters global
proficiency.
The 12-year curriculum seeks to provide students with the educational journey they deserve,
beginning with Kindergarten as the cornerstone for lifelong learning and development. The K–12
program's new curriculum has several benefits, the majority of which place the Filipino student at the
top of the educational priority list. The Philippines' K–12 curricula will bring Filipino pupils on level with
students throughout the world. This would serve as evidence that funding for education is essential for
achieving economic and social progress on a national scale.
