    The surveyor conducted a cargo condition survey of 5 shipments of wire rods and alloyed galvanized wire onboard the m/v "LODESTAR WAY". Across all shipments, the cargo had been stored in an open area and was wet before shipment, resulting in rust stains on the surface affecting all cargo. Various coils also exhibited tangled/twisted windings, indented sides, projections, and other defects like bent or torn windings affecting different quantities within each shipment. The last shipment of alloyed galvanized wire was also loaded from an open area and the outer plastic packing was wet and dusty on all rosettes.

    Dear Captain,

    Please note that the Undersigned surveyor was appointed in order to carry out
    cargo condition survey, so we would recommend the following cargo condition
    remarks to be inserted into the cargo documentation.

    MR No.1
    Cargo: Wire rods in coils (AZ-GTCT-WR-37-A)
    Quantity: 1,199 coils / 2,471.225 MT
    1. Cargo stored in open area. Wet before shipment. Affects all cargo.
    2. Cargo surface partly rust stained. Affects all cargo.
    3. Cargo affected by handling gear marks. Affected all cargo.
    4.Up to 40 windings tangled/twisted. Affects 32 coils
    5.Up to 30 side windings indented/ crumpled. Affects 96 coils
    6. Individual windings projecting out of coil. Affects 58 coils

    MR No.2 (AZ-GTCT-WR-38-S)
    Cargo: Wire rods in coils
    Quantity: 2,407 coils / 4,992.322 MT
    1. Cargo stored in open area. Wet before shipment. Affects all cargo.
    2. Cargo surface partly rust stained. Affects all cargo.
    3. Cargo affected by light handling gear marks. Affected all cargo.
    4.Up to 50 windings tangled/twisted. Affects 45 coils
    5.Up to 30 side windings indented/ crumpled. Affects 152 coils
    6. Individual windings projecting out of coil. Affects 93 coils
    7.Up to 20 core/outer windings protruding/pulled out. Affected 4 coils of them

    4.Up to 20 windings tangled/twisted. Affects 17 coils
    5.Up to 20 side windings indented/ crumpled. Affects 44 coils
    6. Individual windings projecting out of coil. Affects 28 coils
    7. Up to 2 windings torn on 2 coil

    Cargo: Alloyed Galvanized Wire(AZ-GTCT-GW-18-S)
    Quantity: 686 rosettes / 522.286 MT
    All rosettes - wet before shipment, loaded from open area.
    All rosettes - outer protective plastic packing covered with dust.
    XXX rosettes - outer protective plastic packing repaired by tape
