To our school administrator, Mdm. Lani T. Cabatingan, our OIC-School Principal, Ms. Arneda S.

Quisel,
our class advisor, Mr. Regelou P. Ybañez, our faculty, and staff, to our loving parents and families, and
my fellow batchmates of 2022. A pleasant morning to you all.

On behalf of my fellow batchmates, I would like to express our gratitude to the people who helped us on
this journey. To our parents and guardians, who worked hard to sustain our needs and give us the
support we need, we thank you. To our teachers, who always pushed us to do our best in everything we
do, we thank you. To our respective circle of friends, whom we shared our struggles with, listened to
each other's rants, and gave each other the support we ever needed, we thank you. And I would like to
take this opportunity to thank the people who were always there for me, Fiona, Cheska, Natalie, Ashlee,
Jayne, Sophie, Julianne, Noreen, Aicee, and Kristel. Without them, I would never be addressing this
speech to all of you. And above all, we give thanks to the Almighty God, who is giving us his love,
strength, and guidance in this journey.

Alas, we have finally reached the day where we have completed our junior high school journey.
Although, most of us find it unbelievable because the last time we came together in school was in 8th
grade. Who knew that 2 weeks of class suspension became 2 years due to the pandemic? It felt like time
was put into a pause in 8th grade. But that did not stop us from moving on in our lives. And I would like
to congratulate us all, for getting through this together, despite the difficulties brought by the pandemic.

The last four years have been a rollercoaster ride for all of us. I remember my first day in BAST. I never
knew anyone nor was I familiar with the place. I only expected to make a few friends, but I never
expected that I would find a family in BAST. I remember the times when we used to borrow Jmion’s
cards and play Hally Gally and Spot It. I remember the times when friendships were almost destroyed...
from playing UNO. I remember the times when everyone was as quick as Quicksilver just go back to their
seats because "TEACHER ALONA IS COMING!". I remember when one of our classmates accidentally
pressed the fire alarm button which triggered the system and made everyone in the building think it was
an earthquake drill. There are so many hilarious moments, but I'm afraid the catering services will be
already waiting outside of your homes with your food being surrounded by flies if I enumerate all of
them. Don't forget to deliver me some food. The special moments I have spent with all of you will
always hold a special place in my heart.

In these last four years, I have seen how everyone has changed. You have become a better version of
yourselves. To my new classmates, I am sure that your friends and families have seen that as well. As
you go on to your new endeavors, I hope that you will become the best versions of yourselves. Always
be yourselves and never forget to believe in yourselves. Never let anyone take your individuality, as that
is the only thing that will bring out the best in you. And to anyone who says that you are no good
enough, they are no better. I wish you all the best as you open a new chapter in the story of your lives.
