For New Business or Initial Premium payments, please ensure that Client has already made a payment before submitting the app via eApp or BCOS.
Reminder:
- For Initial premium payments, please be reminded that payments should be made before the App is submitted via eApp or BCOS.
- Ensure that the application serial number (for initial), or policy number (for renewal) is inputted correctly when making a payment.
- In connection to Memo Circular 2022-17, proof of payment (POP) or provisional receipt (PR) is required for BCOS and CSC NB App submissions. It is recommended to keep a copy of proof of payment for cases where posting of your client's payment is delayed. NB will request for a proof of payment to help facilitate the posting of
the payment.
- Payment collected from Client (cash/check) should be remitted within 3 days (if Trad) and within 1 day (if VUL) from receipt of payment.
- Indicate in additional remarks on the Advisor's Report the form of payment and breakdown if client used multiple forms of payment.
- COD is applicable if:
a. Over Php 10M death benefit
b. Premium deposit is PHP 1M and over (or equivalent US$) for individual application, or family applications being submitted at the same time, or applications of an individual entity account being submitted at the same time.
