A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BARANGAY TREASURER, ELSIE M. LUYO
TO DISBURSE AN AMOUNT OF FIFTEEN THOUSAND PESOS (PHP 15,000.00) AND
THIRTY THOUSAND PESOS ONLY (PHP 30,000.00) INTENDED FOR THE
HONORARIUM OF ONLINE JUDGES AND RAFFLE PROMO OF THE MEMBERS
OF THE KATIPUNAN NG KABATAAN, RESPECTIVELY.

WHEREAS, Article 423 of the rules and regulation implementing the Local Government
Code of 1991 states that, among others, TEN PERCENT (10%) of the General Fund of the
Baranggay shall be set aside for the Sangguniang Kabataan.
WHEREAS, Republic Act 10742 otherwise known as the Sangguniang Kabataan
Reform Act of 2015 was enacted to establish adequate, effective, responsive and enabling
mechanisms and support systems that will ensure the meaningful participation of the youth in
local governance and nation-building;
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan needs the abovementioned amount for the
honorarium of online judges and raffle promo of the members of the Katipunan ng Kabataan on
the incoming PagPaKaRiTay 2021;
NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Sangguniang Kabataan member Tyrone Cobacha
duly seconded by Ma. Hannah Isabel Agustin and all present, be it;
RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to enact a resolution authorizing the
barangay treasurer to release the amount of fifteen thousand pesos (Php 15,000.00) and thirty
thousand pesos only (Php30,000.00) intended for the honorarium of online judges and raffle
promo of the members of the Katipunan ng Kabataan;
RESOLVED FINALLY, that the copies of this resolution be furnished to the
Sangguniang Kabataan Council of Barangay Salvacion, Palo, Leyte, The Municipal Accountant,
the MLGOO, the Municipal Budget Officer, and all other concerned for their information and
appropriate action.

I hereby certify to the correctness of the foregoing resolution duly signed by all members
present.
