(N 2 , Fuel Flow, Oil Pressure, and Oil Temperature)

Pressing the ENGINE Button a second time brings these indications back

If the Part-Time indications are not displayed, and any one of the parameters
exceeds limitations, the Part-Time indications will automatically re-appear

TILT Knob

The TILT knob provides for up and down tilt control for
the radar. Pressing the center of the knob selects AUTO
TILT for the radar. AUTO TILT automatically adjusts the
tilt of the radar as the aircraft pitch changes to maintain
the beam angle in relation to the earth's surface. The
AUTO TILT mode selection is indicated by an "A"
annunciation at the end of the tilt display.

GCS Button

The GCS Button activates ground clutter suppression


for 30 seconds. GCS should remove the ground clutter
and leave only weather returns on the display.

RANGE Knob

The RANGE knob provides range adjustment for the


radar, MFD and PFD map displays, TCAS, and Terrain
displays simultaneously. All will be adjusted to the same
value; however, TCAS will not go beyond 50 nm. The
maximum range with the TCAS overlay displayed on the
PFD is 50 nm. The maximum range with the terrain or
radar displayed on the PFD or MFD is 300 nm. With all
overlays (TCAS, TERR, RDR) turned off, the maximum
range is 600 nm.

LOADING A VISUAL APPROACH
1. Press II,if ARRIVALS for DESTination airport do not appear, press a
second time.
a. Select ARRive for the DESTination airport.
b. Select the desired visual approach (They are located at the end of all
the instrument approaches).
c. A "RX" waypoint is created on the extended centerline of the runway
5nm from the threshold (enter a different distance, if desired).
d. Verify the waypoints, resolve discontinuities, and press Ill.
