There are several environmental laws that should be strictly implemented in the improper disposal of

waste. These include the R. A. 9003 (Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000), R. A. 8749 (Clean
Air Act of 1999).

The following are some of the ways that we can implement this law in our town:

1. Establishing a comprehensive solid waste management plan

2. Setting up an integrated waste management system for our town
3. Providing for the collection, segregation, treatment, recycling and disposal of solid wastes in our
municipality.

Solid Waste Management It was created to help communities be more environmentally friendly by
limiting how much waste they can produce. This helps them reduce the amount of trash they produce,
which means less littering on streets and more responsible disposal methods for residents who live near
dumps or landfills.
