The curriculum of the US and Vietnam is not much different, mainly the American
way of teaching focuses on giving students more practical experience than
theoretical learning to improve soft skills and develop critical thinking to become a
habit of self-control in education.
AMERICAN
- Each semester consists of 5 subjects and each week has a minimum of about 4 tests for
1 subject. (Computer-based multiple-choice test)
- The amount of knowledge is average, and the remaining time students spend on
practical experience.
VIETNAM
- For 3 levels of primary, secondary, and high school, each semester will have 12
subjects. Each subject will have 4 tests.
- The volume of knowledge is dense, and the homework assignment is much, more
theoretical learning than practical experience.
- The curriculum alternates with each other, basic and advanced in parallel.
