Composition Writing

”A fool in need of attention”, would be the most accurate statement describing me during
8th grade. I was a loud and obnoxious, egotistic, and, terribly arrogant kid. I didn’t have many
goals academic-wise in my first year of high school and the few things I felt passionate about
doing were playing games and sports. As they were basically the only things I enjoyed and really
focused on. By playing games I could relieve my stress on whatever game and whenever I did
so, it felt like my batteries were recharging. And whenever I played sports, I could also relieve
my stress while having conversations with friends enlightening boring days. During class, my
attention span was very short, so only a few topics really grabbed my attention and kept me
learning. Whenever I wasn’t paying attention, I was either playing games, talking with friends, or
zoning out which I felt was a terrible waste of time and yet I still did it.
