A1. Sheet A000: Please address the following:

A. The code analysis indicates the occupancy is a B. Please revise to reflect an M occupancy for retail services per IBC 309.

I. Please revise the occupant load to reflect mercantile use per IBC Table 1004.5. Ensure the calculations reflect 1 occupant for
60 gross square feet of space.

B. Please revise the plans to indicate sprinklers are to be provided in accordance with IBC 402.5.

A2. Sheet A201: Please address the following:

A. In accordance with IBC 2902.3.1, please justify occupants passing through a storage room to access the toilet room as this
is not allowed.

B. The egress plan on sheet A202 shows egress through doors 1 and 4. Please provide a note on the plans that the contractor
will verify the existing doors and existing hardware comply with the requirements of IBC 1010 or update the hardware as
required.

C. IEBC 305.7 requires that when an alteration to an existing building includes an area of primary function, it must be provided
with accessible toilet rooms and drinking fountains. Where existing facilities are being used, provide a note on the plans
indicating that the contractor is to field verify the toilet rooms comply with the requirements of Chapter 6 of ICC A117.1-09 or
update them as required.

A3. Sheet A202: Please address the following:

A. Remove exit sign. Egress cannot go through storage rooms per IBC 1016.2#5. Due to the occupant load, only one exit will be
required from the retail area.

A4. Sheet A401: Please address the following:

A. There are multiple shelves, platforms, displays identified. Per IBC 1109.9, 5% of the cabinet shelves, but no less than 1 shelf,
is required to be within an accessible reach range. Please verify the height of the various displays and shelves meet the
requirements of ICC A117.1-09 Section 308.

B. IBC 1109.12.3 requires that at least one of each type of service counter provided is accessible. Please provide sufficient
details showing how compliance with either a parallel or forward approach per ICC A117.1-09 Section 904.3 has been
achieved.

I. Parallel Approach: A portion of the counter, a minimum of 36-inches wide and extending the full depth of the counter, shall be
no more than 36 inches in height.

II. Forward Approach: A portion of the counter, a minimum of 30 inches wide and extending the full depth of the counter, shall
be no more than 36 inches in height. Toe and knee clearance in accordance with Section 306 of ICC A117.1-09 shall be
provided below the accessible counter.

A5. Please provide a conformed set of architectural drawings with the response that includes all sheets whether they have
been revised or not. Even if no drawing sheets have been revised, please upload a clean set of drawings to the Infor system so
they can be stamped for approval once all comments have been resolved. If you have any questions regarding the above
