Family Guy
Part 1: In your own words, explain your thoughts about “Family Guy”. If you aren’t
familiar with the show, what have you heard about it. (5)
My thoughts on the show are that it’s a funny sarcastic show and is
meant for a more mature audience that appeals to dark humor and there
are some moments where some people don’t understand the joke, or
they take the entire episode out of context and get offended by it when
it wasn’t directed at you, or a minority of people cause the show is
known for having offensive jokes to some and those people don’t
watch the show.

2(a): Explain the author’s central argument and more than one example they use to
support their argument (10)
The central argument is that the show mocks the bigotry of
some white middle-class men, and the main character Peter is
shown to be not very bright and make basial jokes off his beliefs
also how Brian the dog is smarter than Peter and how people
view dogs as less than they are, but the show takes that
perspective and flips it to show the truth.

Summarize your favorite episode? (10) My favorite episodes are when they
learn the truth about the princess of
Splendorous and her father who is the
villain, they were fighting the entire
time. When they found out that Candy
the “sidekick” was the daughter of
Queen Euphoria and the new ruler of
Juba land, and she needs to defeat the
army of shadow giants she struggled at
first but with the help of her friends they
defeated the army and the leader.

you set your mind to, you must believe
in yourself to achieve greatness, no
matter how many times you get hurt
you’ll have to get back up again, always
defend those who defend you, keep
moving forward no matter the pain or

do with love, believe in yourself even if
