Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai (I want to eat your pancreas.

The animated film “Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai” is based on the novel by a Japanese writer
Yuro Sumino. It was directed by Ushijima Shinichirou and premiered on 1 September 2018 in
Japan. Didn’t get any awards but it was highly acclaimed.

The movie was animated by Studio VOLN. They created the convincing graphic.

The film is about two teenagers who met in the Hospital. Along
with the story we can see how the main characters are
changing. The plot is basic, the two vital characters Sakura and
Haruki met in the Hospital and Sakura’s secret turns out. Her
pancreas is stopped working. In the beginning, Haruki doesn’t
care about it but in the following days, they started to talk more
because he was the only one who knew the truth. Haruki
doesn’t had any friends before because everyone believed of
him as a rigid bookworm. Sakura’s personality is the complete
opposite. She is a happy, cheerful person. Their relationship
starts to become more vital in their life but when they started to
go on a “date” it turned out how she really fears death. It is the
point when the actions really going to start.

I strongly recommend “Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai.” It has romance, drama, an unforgettable

twist. It contains an important message: You can die any time by anything. This movie Is not
tedious it always has some action. It has some cliché, but not much. Definitely this is my
favourite film in this genre.
