In regard to the above, it is intimated that the total amount payable towards SAB and gratuity from the period 17.10.2016 to 30.04.2018 is Rs 85354. The pay and allowances has been paid directly by DoT from 01.05.2018 onwards, so, you are requested to calculate the same as per provisions in superannuation pension scheme and BSNL employee gratuity trust rules. BSNL employees are eligible to get the amount of contribution to all superannuation benefits including @ 5% of basic pay plus IDA for superannuation pension scheme and gratuity @ 15/26 of monthly wages for a complete year. The proportionate amount for the period of deputation is also to be paid to BSNL. The superannuation pension contribution and gratuity from 17.10.2026 to till date may be credited to the account of BSNL Punjab and in future the same may be remitted along with EPF and GStI contribution of employees on monthly basis.
