About the Seminar
The Seminar aims at creating awareness about Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) amongst
the Staff and Students so that they may take action to secure their ideas and innovations.
Intellectual Property Rights help in recording the unique contribution made by an individual
with his idea/design/process. It ensures that the creator has an exclusive right over the use
of his/her creation for a certain period of time. In an age when every single idea could be a
million-dollar proposition, it is very important that all faculty members and students are
aware of the different aspects of the IPR.
