Apparatet må kun anvendes til det, det er beregnet til.

The tool may only be used for its designated use.
Kun personer, der er kvalificeret til det, må anvende apparatet.

The tool must be operated by qualified personnel only.
Apparatet må ikke anvendes i nærheden af rindende vand, da der er risiko for kortslutning.
Do not work near running water. Risk of short circuit.
Den person, der anvender apparatet, skal bære øjen-- og hørebeskyttelse samt handsker
(skærefaste handsker).
When operating the tool, wear eye--, ear-- and hand protection (cutting proof gloves).
Læg aldrig hånden mellem båndet og pakken.

Do not put hands between the strap and the package.
Båndet kan knække ved stramningen. Stå derfor ikke på linje med båndet.
Do not stand in line with the strap while it is tensioned. The strap could break!
Træk el--stikket ud, når ladeaggregatet ikke anvendes.

Remove the power plug when the charger is not in use
Hvis der arbejdes med fjedervægt, må der kun anvendes en fjedervægt, der overholder sikkerhedsforskrifterne.
If work is carried out using a spring balancer, it should be one that complies with the safety regulations.

Håndapparatet må kun anvendes til at omsnøre pakker med kunststofbånd, til transportsikring af disse.
Enhver anden anvendelse af apparatet er ikke i henhold til specifikationen. Skulle der opstå skader på
apparatet pga. forkert anvendelse kan Cyklop Emballering A/S IKKE holdes ansvarlig.
Korrekt anvendelse af apparatet inkluderer også, at instruktionerne i driftsmanualen samt inspektions--
og vedligeholdelsesinstruktionerne overholdes.
The handtool is exclusively designed for strapping packages with plastic strap for transport securing
purposes. Any other or extended use of the machine, is rated to be not according to the specification.
For damages resulting from this, the factory CYKLOP GmbH is NOT responsible.
Operating the hand tool within the limits of its designated use also involves observing the instructions
set out in the operating manual and complying with the inspection and maintenance directives.

Friktionssvejsning: Den varme, der produceres ved friktionen

2 mellem de to båndender medfører, at overfladen på de to

Friction sealing: Heat produced by friction between the two
strapping ends results in melting the strapping surface.
The seal is caused by simultaneous pressure.

på ca. 200_C.
Danger of injury
The heat which is caused by friction -- melting the strap -- reaches a temperature of approx. 200 oC.
Ibrugtagning / Starting
Tilslutning / Connection
Inden den første ibrugtagning skal batteriet i ladeapparatet oplades. Efter endt opladning tages batteriet ud af opla-
deren og anbringes i håndapparatet. Apparatet er nu klar til drift.
Charge the battery accumulator prior to the first use. After charging time, take the battery accumulator off the char-
ger and install it into the hand unit. The unit is ready for operation.
Risiko
For at undgå at operatøren kommer til skade, må der kun anvendes originale batterier.
Risk
To avoid the risk of injury to the operator, only original batteries should be used.
Udskiftning af batteri / Replacing battery

Hvis apparatet ikke skal anvendes i længere tid, eller hvis batteriet er tomt, skal batteriet fjernes ved at løsne det
bag på apparatet. If the tool is not to be operation for a certain length of time or the battery is empty, remove the
battery from beneath the tool.
Tryk på klemmerne (7, pil) og træk batteriet ned og ud af
værktøjet (se billedet).
Når batteriet installeres igen, blinker en diode kortvarigt
grønt i kort tid, og apparatet er klar til drift.
Press the clamps (7, arrow) and pull the battery down and
out of the tool (see picture).
When installing the battery again a diode will blink
green (3), the hand tool is ready for use.
VIGTIGT!
Defekte batterier må ikke kommes i
affaldsspanden. Disse skal bortskaffes i
henhold til gældende miljøregulativer.
IMPORTANT!
Do not throw the battery into the waste bin.
Dispose according to the regulations for
environment protection.

Håndapparatet er fra fabrikkens side indstillet efter de kundespecificerede ønsker og er driftsklart
med disse indstillinger.
Note
The hand tool has been adjusted at the factory to customer--specific data and is ready to operate with
these settings.
Bemærk!
Når der skal foretages nye indstillinger, trækkes batteriet kortvarigt (6) ud af apparatet nede
fra og genmonteres. Herved vises de aktuelle indstillinger. Herefter foretages de
ønskede indstillinger.
Attention!
When new settings are made, pull the battery (6) out of the tool from below and reinsert.
This causes the state currently set to be displayed.
Then the desired settings can be made.

Dette er kun muligt i automatisk driftsmåde
Først aktiveres tast (2) ”Manuel svejsning”, hvorefter ”udløse--tast (4) trykkes ned.
Rækkefølgen skal ubetinget overholdes!
Beide Tasten gedrückt halten und ca. 10 sec. warten bis die Leuchtdiode (3) grün blinkt.
Et grønt blink = PP--bånd

To grønne blink = PET--bånd
Slip begge taster, hvorefter den sidst viste blinkesekvens er gemt.

Be sure to comply with sequence!
Press and hold both buttons and wait approx. 10 sec. until the LED (3) flashes green.
One green flash = PP strap

Two green flashes = PET strap
Release both buttons; the flashing sequence last displayed is saved.

(84) (40) Indstil båndbredde / Adjusting strap
width
Stiftskruen (84) løsnes.
På bagsiden indstilles en anden båndbredde ved at dreje
indstillingsenheden (40).
På grundpladeforkanten findes der markeringer, der
viser de forskellige båndbredder.
Efter indstillingen af båndbredden skal
indstillingsenheden (40) fastgøres ved at stramme
stiftskruen (84).
Stiftskruen (84) skal strammes mest muligt, da den
indstillede båndbredde ellers forskubbes (på grund
af vibrationer).
Loosen the screw (84).
The strap width can be changed by turning the setting
mechanism (40) on the bottom.
Markings at which the respectively adjusted strap width
can be adjusted are provided on the front edge of the unit
base plate.
When the strap width has been set then the setting
mechnisem (40) has to be locked by turning the screw
(84).The screw (84) has to be tightened, otherwise the
strap width may alter as a result of vibration.

Først trykkes tast (2) ”Manuel svejsning” ned, hvorefter udløsetasten (4) trykkes ned.
Rækkefølgen skal ubetinget overholdes!
Herefter holdes begge taster nede, og der ventes ca. 10 sek., indtil lysdioden (3) blinker rødt.

The mechanically set strap width must be read into the controller.
To do this, set the ”Manual” operating mode on the selector switch (9).
Press the ”Manual sealing” button (2) and the ”Release” button (4) consecutively.
Be sure to comply with sequence!
Press and hold both buttons and wait approx. 10 sec. until the LED (3) flashes red.
The flashing sequence means:
1 x red = 9 mm strap width

8 9 10 Indstilling at båndstramning / Adjusting
tension
På potentiometeret (8) kan båndspændingen indstilles

trinløst.
Drejer man med uret forhøjes båndspændingen op til
maks. 1300 N (maks. 2000 N).
Drejer man mod uret reduceres båndspændingen ned til
< 200N afhængig af båndtype.
The strap tension is adjustable using the (8) potentio--

meter.
Turning clockwise increases strap tension to max.1300N
(max. 2000 N).
Turning anti--clockwise decreases strap tension
to < 200 N for each strap type.
Bemærk!
Båndstramningen skal reduceres, når der omsnøres bløde pakker f.eks. pap. Herved undgår
man at beskadige pakken.
Attention!
The strap tension has to be reduced when strapping soft packages, for example cardboard (strapping
of packets). This prevents damage to the package.
8 9 10 Indstil driftsmåde / Operation mode
På omskifteren (9) kan driftsmåden indstilles på

”Automatisk” eller ”Manuel”. I automatisk drift afsluttes
den forud valgte båndspænding, når båndspændingen
nås, og svejsningen og afskæringen af båndet startes
automatisk.
I manuel drift skal tasten (1) ”Spænd” holdes nede, indtil
den ønskede båndspænding er nået. Selve svejsningen
startes ved at trykke på tasten (2) ”Manuel svejsning”.
The selection switch (9) can be set to automatic or

manual operation.
Automatic operation means that the tensioning will stop
at a pre--selected tension and sealing and cut off will be
carried out automatically.
Manual operation means that the tension button (1) has
to be pressed until the required tension is reached. Press
the welding button (2) to seal the strap.
Indstilling af svejsetiden / Adjusting

welding time
Indstillingen af svejsetiden kan ske ved at dreje på skruen

(10). Drejning med uret forhøjer svejsetiden, medens
drejning den modsatte vej reducerer svejsetiden
To adjust the welding time the screw (10) has to be turned,
clockwise for increasing the welding time and anti--clock--
wise for decreasing welding time.

1. Båndplacering / Strap insertion

Båndet anbringes rundt om pakken, således at det ligger
dobbelt på pakkens overside.
Pakke Form a strap loop around the package so that the
package strap ends overlap on top.
2. Stramning af båndet / Strap clamping

Tag om apparatets håndtag med højre hånd. Med venstre
hånd fastholdes båndet, hvor det ligger dobbelt. Med
tommelfingeren trykkes en enkelt gang på
stramningstasten (1). Begge bånd holdes fastklemt.
Hold the tool in the right hand. Hold the overlapping strap
and insert with the left hand. Press the tensioning button
with the thumb. Both straps are held tight.
3a. Automatisk stramning af bånd / Strap tensioning automatically

Med den venstre hånd holdes kun det øverste bånd fast.
Med højre hånds tommelfinger trykkes stramningstasten
(1) ned. Stramningen er aktiveret så længe som tasten
holdes nede, og afsluttes automatisk, når den forud
indstillede stramning er nået. Plombering og afskæring
sker automatisk.
Hold only the top strap with the left hand.
Press the tension button (1) with the right hand thumb.
Tensioning is activated as long as this button is being
pressed and the pre--selected tension is reached. Sealing
and cutting off are carried out automatically.

3b. Manuel stramning af bånd / Manual strap tensioning

Med højre hånds tommelfinger trykkes stramningstasten
(1) ned, indtil den ønskede båndspænding er nået. Det er
muligt at trykke stramningstasten ned mere end én gang.
Press the tension button (1) with the right hand thumb
until the required tension is reached.
It is possible to press the tension button more than once.
Fare
Undgå at holde på det nederste bånd,
medens stramningen sker.
Danger
Do not hold the bottom strap whilst ten--
sioning.
4a. Automatisk sammensvejsning og afskæring / Automatic sealing and cutting of

strap
Automatisk beregnet til omsnøring af flere ens pakker
Når den indstillede stramningskraft er nået,
sammensvejses båndene automatisk og afskæres.
Automatic for lot sized packages. When the tension has
been reached the straps will be automatically sealed and
cut off.
Under svejsningsprocessen trækkes det øverste bånd ud

til venstre.
During the sealing process pull the upper strap away to
the left.
4b. Manuel plombering og afskæring af bånd / Manual sealing and cutting of strap
Manuel beregnet til pakker af forskellig størrelse.

Når den nødvendige stramning er nået, trykkes tast (2)
”manuel svejsning” med højre hånds tommelfinger.
Båndet vil blive plomberet og skåret over.
Manual for variable package sizes.

5. Frakobling af værktøj / Releasing the tool
Så længe lysdioden (3) lyser rødt, afkøles
sammensvejsningen, og det er ikke muligt at trække
apparatet af pakken. Når lysdioden (3) lyser grønt,
aktiveres udløsetasten (4)
As long as the diode lights up red (3) the friction seal is
cooling and it is not possible to pull the tool off the pack--
age. When the diode lights up green (3) press the release
button (4)

Service og vedligehold / Maintenance and care

Hvis der anvendes et elektrisk håndapparat, skal følgende forholdsregler nøje overholdes.
In case of using an electrically driven hand tool, the following notes must be strictly
observed.
Kun uddannet og autoriseret personale må udføre service-- og vedligeholdelsesarbejder på apparatet.

The tool may only be serviced by trained and / or authorized personnel.
Apparatet må ikke blive udsat for fugt.

The tool must not be exposed to humidity.
Medleveret rengøringsbørste /
Cleaning brush provided
Pas på!
Inden rengøring påbegyndes, er det absolut nødvendigt at fjerne batteriet, ellers
vil stramningsstemplet eller fremføringshjulet blive ødelagt. Bær beskyttelsesbriller -- der
er risiko for ødelæggelse af øjnene ved rengøring med trykluft.
Attention!
Before cleaning it is absolutely necessary to remove the battery otherwise the tension die
or the feed wheel will be damaged when the tensioning button is pressed!
Wear protective goggles - danger of eye injuries during cleaning work with compressed air.
Apparatet skal dagligt efter endt brug rengøres med trykluft.

Båndrester fjernes med rengøringsbørsten.
Rengøringsbørsten føres ind mellem stramningsstemplet og fremføringshjulet, og urenheder fjernes.
The device must be cleaned daily with compressed air following the end of operation.
Remove strap residues and strap abrasion with the cleaning brush.
To do this, guide in the cleaning brush between the tensioning gear and the tensioning die and remove soiling.
Pas på!

Hver gang batteriet indsættes, viser apparatet de aktuelle indstillinger ved blinksignaler.

Tryk på udløsningstasten (2).
Knivenheden kører op.
Press the release button (2).
The blade is raised.
Fire skruer (78/80) løsnes, og dækslet fjernes.

Unscrew four screws (78/80) and remove the housing

Fjern beskyttelsesklipsen (A) med en flad skruetrækker.

Remove the old blade (29) with the help of tweezers or flat
pliers.
Indsæt den nye kniv (29) med en pincet eller fladtang.
Det er vigtigt, at kniven placeres i den rigtige position
(se tegningen nedenfor).

Læg nogle få lag band (f.eks. 2 lag) under kniven, træk

op og tryk mod stopklodsen.
Pas på! Der må ikke anvendes hårde eller skarpe
genstande (f.eks. skruetrækkere, tænger o.lign.).
Place a few layers of strap (i.e. 2 layers) under the
blade, pull up and press against the buffer.

Indstilling af knivhøjde / Adjusting blade height
(89) Den afstand, der skal være mellem kniven og

grundpladen under afskæringsproceduren, kan
reguleres på indstillingsskruen (89).
The distance between the blade and the base plate during
a cut--off procedure can be adjusted with the adjustment
screw (89).
Når skruen skrues ind, forøges afstanden.

Når skruen skrues ud, reduceres afstanden.
Screwing in the screw increases the distance.
Screwing out the screw decreases the distance.
Standardindstillingen fra fabrikkens side er 3,5 mm

fra knivholderens (28) underkant og til grundpladens
overflade.
The default setting from the factory between the lower
edge of the blade holder (28) and the surface of the base
plate is approx. 3.5 mm.
