Vehicles Rental Agreement

This car rent agreement is made and entered into between Multi-Choice Ethiopia
PLC, a legal entity established and existing in Ethiopia, Address: Addis Ababa, TIN-
0000009659 bole sub-city, Woreda 3 H.no_new Tel:+251116639900, here in after
referred to as “Lessee’s on the one part
And
Yafe Tour and Car Rent P.L.C here in after referred to as the “Lessor” on the other
hand, with its register address Bole S/city, woreda 03/05, H.No 2483/M05 in Addis
Ababa, Ethiopia as per the following terms and conditions.

Article: 1 purpose of agreement

1. The client is needed for rental vehicles service to run its developmental works and
support the developmental partners and stakeholders to carry out their planned activities
within Addis and outside Addis, in different Regional cities.
2. The Lessor is ready and able to provide the required services with excellent condition
with qualified and responsible driver who committed the instruction of the clients.
Article 2 Duration of The Car Rental Agreement
2.1 This Car Rental Agreement shall long term base and effective from the date on that the
two contractual parties have been signed. However, it may not be modified or replaced by
another arrangement without the consent of the two parties.
Article 3 Price and Term of Payment
3.1 The rented price are specified under in the table below based on daily rental bases as per
the type of vehicles provided by the Lessor’s.
3.2 The payment will shall be made in Cheque or Bank transfer to the suppliers account with
the presence of Lessors original invoice.
3.3 The car rental payment shall be effected in full after the end of service provided
(immediately after the end of each month).

Article 4 Duties & Responsibilities of the Lessor

4.1 The Lessor shall supply the type of vehicles required for as per the specified detail attached
here.
4.2 The Lessor shall ensure that all vehicles supplied under this agreement are under a
comprehensive insurance cover during the contractual period
4.3 The Lessor shall provide a skilled and disciplined driver who is always available during the
agreed working hours.
4.4 The lessors agree to pay drivers allowance and salaries during the contract periods.
4.5 The lessor is responsible for the maintenance and lubricants of the vehicles during the
contract period
4.6 The Lessor shall be liable for any accident or any damage on the property, passengers, or
other third parties caused by his assigned driver
4.7 The Lessor shall replace the vehicles with other similar vehicles promptly in case of damages
or mechanical breakdowns. The vehicle to be replaced shall be similar, excellent condition
and fit for the travel.
4.8 The Lessor can provide the vehicles with full tank and after the service completed the Lessee
should return the vehicles with full tank.
Article 5 Duties & Responsibilities of the Lessee
5.1 The Lessee shall give a written order to the Lessor specifying the type of vehicle to be
supplied, the duration and the places to be traveled at list 3 days before the
commencement of the field trip.
5.2 The Lessee shall comply with the rules and regulations of Ethiopia and use the rented
vehicles for legitimate purposes
5.3 After the completion of the service the Lesseer should return the vehicle with

Article 6 Amendment of contract

6.1 `This contract can be amended or replaced by another with the consent of the two parties.

Both parties have agreed upon the terms and conditions written on both sides of this
agreement.
