Get Out While You Can
(Part One)

Intro: 1. On the evening of April 14, 1912, the Titanic sunk to the
bottom of the ocean.
2. Many lives were needlessly lost that evening, simply because
they didn’t get out of that ship when they could.
3. This morning, I want to share with you a spiritual warning –
Get out of sin while you can!

I. As The Titanic Sank, The Band Played “Nearer My God To Thee”


A. As we approach death, we truly are nearer to God than ever before.
B. (Hebrews 9:27).

II. The Lord Is Returning


A. (Acts 17:31).
B. (2 Corinthians 5:10).
C. (Matthew 7:21-23).
D. (Hebrews 4:13; Ecc. 12:14).
E. (2 Thessalonians 1:7-9).
F. If you wait till his return, there will be no time to get into Christ.
G. Now is the time to get out of sin.

III. Things We May Need To Get Out Of


A. Bad relationships (1 Corinthians 15:33).
B. Bad habits (1 Timothy 4:12).
C. False religion (Matthew 15:13).
D. Superstition (Galatians 5:20)

Concl. 1. I am glad that many here today have already gotten out of sin
in time.
2. Yet, there are others no doubt who are counting on a
“tomorrow” that may never come.
3. (James 4:14-17).
4. Break free from the bondage of sin before it has you so tied
up that you cannot leave.
