Performance ➢ Light: Optical Spectrum (Rainbow)


Task 2
o Produce and take a photo of an optical spectrum (e.g.
rainbow) formed by various objects such as ball pens,
water bottles, glass tumblers, and alike.

Rainbow - ➢ Materials:
Hunting o Any (chosen) material that can produce optical spectrum
Activity (rainbow), light source, 1/8 illustration board (for black
background), masking tape or strip of paper (for
labelling), camera

➢ Format(size of photo):4R (4”x 6”)

➢ Type of Activity: Individual

➢ Procedure:

1.For the black background, use the black side of the


illustration board and label it (using the masking tape or strip
of paper)with the following details:

Name: (SURNAME, FIRST NAME)


Date: (Month, Day)

Note: The label is to be placed under the produced optical


spectrum (rainbow).

2. Using your chosen material (that can produce optical spectrum


or rainbow), hit it with the light from any source above the
surface of the black side of the illustration board until you
produce an optical spectrum (rainbow) on the surface of the
illustration board.

Note: Adjust the angle of the light hitting your material until

you produce optical spectrum (rainbow) on the black side surface


of the illustration board.

3. Once you successfully produced an optical spectrum (rainbow


effect), take a photo of it and paste it on the separated page
(answer sheet) below.

4. Answer the given questions on the separated answer sheet.
