Caterpillar S•O•SSM Services Wear Table

Definition: Wear Tables are statistical tools which allow to know the global population trend for a specific metal element, in a specific compartment and model, for specific oil hrs.

Caution: These Wear Tables should be used as general guidelines only. Trending of individual machine/compartment test results is the best interpretation method. Trending should be
used as the basis for all test result evaluations and customer recommendations

Process: All Wear Tables created are uploaded directly to S·O·S Services Manager for Interpretation purposes. Also, they will be available in SOS Service Web, for Caterpillar and
Dealers use.

Auto interpretation process: These tables and other test limits will be part of the rules-based logic that is used to develop an Auto Interpreter System within S·O·S Services Manager.
