Background Information

Knowing the parts of a paragraph and an essay will help you form the framework of your composition.
Moreover, knowledge of the aspects that make a well-written text will enable you to ensure the quality of your
work. But, more importantly, the message you want to communicate will effectively come through.

As a writer, it is important to think about what you say and how you say it. One must also think about the style,
tone, and clarity of their writing and adapt these elements to the reading audience.

In this lesson, we are going to tackle the properties of a well-written text which are the following:
Organization, Coherence and Cohesion, Language Use, and Mechanics.
