Event Info:
1. Name: International exhibition of gold and jewelry. 2. Venue & Date: Jeddah, Suadi Arabia - From 27 :29 Nov. 2011. 3. Application deadline:Oct. 30. 2011. 4. Participation fees: $400 per sq/m min 12 sq/m. For two persons visa the area should be 15 sq/m

5. Method of payment: 50% of the total rental is to be paid at the time of booking, the remaining 50% before Oct. 30. 2011. 6. Shell scheme booth: Partition walls; fascia with company name, 220V single-phase socket, 3 spot lights, 1 table, 2 chairs, and 1 waste basket. Minimum exhibition space: 12 sq/m, all other exhibition equipment and services are provided for extra charge. 7. Opening Hours: International expiation for fashion . clothes and textile will be open to trade visitors and business buyers from 4:00 pm until 11:00 pm. 8. Official Stand Fitting Contractor: Al-Zahrani for local and international exhibitions (Eng. Nahla Mousa) 9. Forwarding & Clearing: Has been appointed a company specialized in this area. 10. Insurance: It is the exhibitors' responsibility to insure that their exhibits are covered by adequate insurance for the shipment + duration, re-packing and re-exporting from the exhibition. 11. Security: 24-hour security is provided by the organizers during the show. However, exhibitors are advised to take adequate precautions and insure that all articles and valuable items are insured. The organizers will not be

responsible for the safety of articles of any kind brought into the exhibition hall by the exhibitors, their staff or any person whatsoever. 12. Stand Personnel: Multilingual temporary staff is available. 13. Exhibitors' Passes: Exhibitors and their staff should put badges (provided by the organizers) at all times, during the exhibition. 14. Catalogue Show: The catalogue show will be printed in English and Arabic and will contain general exhibition information, a layout plan of the stands, an entry of 75 words from each exhibitor, a product index, exhibitors' complete contact information and advertisements. Exhibitors' attention is drawn to the advantages to be gained from advertising in the catalogue, which will be retained by visitors and used as a source of reference for many months after the show. For farther information, please contact the organizers. 15. Telecommunications: An international telephone, fax service and internet access are available from the Business Center. You can rent equipment to fit your all your technical requirements. To find the system you are looking for, please contact the organizers. 16. Restaurants: The main Restaurants will be located near to hall. 17. Parking: Ample car parking facilities are available adjacent to the exhibition center. 18. Visitor Registration: Trade visitors will fill a registration ticket before entering the hall. A pre-registration system has been developed by SEC and is designed to facilitate easy registration of international trade visitors, allowing them an immediate entry to the exhibition ground. A comprehensive show catalogue will be available at the registration counters, containing a general floor plan with exhibitors' stand numbers, complete exhibitor information, and promotional advertisements for exhibitors. Show catalogues are distributed free of charge to trade visitors. 19. Transportation: Automobile rental companies provide self-driven cars or cars with a driver. 20. Credit Cards: Visitors will find that many credit cards are accepted in larger establishments: Master Card, Visa. 21. Currency: Foreign currency can be exchanged at any bank. The monetary unit is the Saudi Riyal (SR). 22. Accommodation: Damascus is well provided with hotels of international standard. However, exhibitors are recommended to reserve at an early stage directly or through their travel agent or apply for the organizers.

23. Bus Service: A courtesy bus service will operate between the main hotels and the exhibition centre. 24. Penalty: Cancellation, either of part or whole of exhibition space may be done by giving notice in the written form to the Organizer. Cancellation before 1st of Oct. 2011 Exhibitor would be responsible for paying penalty at the rate 60%. If the notice were given after the terms indicated above, Exhibitor would be responsible for paying penalty at the rate 100%. 25. Passports: You must not send a copy of the passport four months before the exhibition until the visa must have a passport valid for after the date of the show for 6 months. 26. The place: jeddah Hilton Hotel. -------------1-General information about the customs: The customs fees are 5% of the value of the exhibits(CIF) according to the agreement of the GCC for jewels and gold. Each participant can issue a bank guarantee from any bank in his country provided same bank should coordinate with a Saudi bank . The local Saudi bank should issue bank guarantee in Saudi Riyals as well as in Arabic . It is not allowed to bring in gold less than 18 Karats as well broken gems. Every participant must pay 2000 American dollars as the cost of performing the customs clearance procedures(import, export, airport pickup to custom building and other expenses) . Every participant or the representative who caring the jewellery must inform the organizing company with the flight number, time and the relevant air carrier . Every participant or their representative has reach with their merchandise to king Khaled International Airport Riyadh , 3 days prior to the start of the event, to allow us to clear the merchandise from custom in appropriate time . 2- Required documents from each participant for customs procedure: The organizing company will provide the following: A packing list with full details about the jewels and definition of each piece including the price in dollars. Colored picture of every piece of jewels containing and it's serial

number below. A total invoice with the value of goods in dollars and their quantity and the gross weight. A certificate of origin of the exhibits (jewels) including the invoice number, goods weight and the quantity.

3- Customs procedures: After receiving the required documents and information from the participant, he will be informed within 5 to 6 days with the customs cost. Each participant must provide needed amount of money for the customs duty by cash payment in the airport bank or through bank guarantee through a Saudi bank. When the participant arrives to King abd al aziz Airport in Jeddah ,he must go ahead to the customs officer that will check out the jewels and put it in a special bag which will be sealed with lead and numbered, and the participant will be given a merchandise deposit receipt for his jewels. The organizing companies representative will take the participant to the custom's building by a special car within 24 hours after his arrival for ending the procedures and opening the sealed bag in presence of the participant , Ministry of Commerce representative and the customs officer accordingly custom duty will be assess by Min .of Commerce and custom's officer. The participant must then pay the custom's fees, by cash or through bank guarantee and he will be taken with his goods to the exhibition center. After the end of the exhibition, the custom's fees are calculated on the sold pieces only, and custom's value will be determined, and the amount will be deducted from the cash deposit within 2 days of ending the customs procedure. In case of the bank guarantee the customs fees must be paid in the airport bank directly and after the ending of the customs procedures, the bank guarantee will be released also after two days of ending the customs procedures.
