DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF QUICK ACTION DRILL PRESS VICE

ABSTRACT

Generally vice a common device used to hold work for carrying out
various operations due to quick loading and unloading capability.
Hinged edge angle vice is a device used on the shop floor holding the
job during machining operation. The two jaws are holding the job very
rigidly. This type vice can also be used for all kind of machining
operation with hugh clamping rigidity. "Time is very essential for
everyone" so we are pleased to design and fabricate a project on
clamping device namely “DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF QUICK
DRILL PRESS VICE ” which saves the time while clamping the work
piece and makes the machining very easy and accurate with various
machining. Our project hold the work piece flat and regular work piece
securely in correct position while machining operations like Drilling,
reaming, tapping, shaping etc and various machining operations can be
performed easily.Quick releasing vice has screw mechanism just pulling
action with sliding bar.
