    Student Quick Start Guide

    LMS-Integrated

    LOG IN TO

    1. Log in to your school’s


    Learning Management System (LMS)

    2. Go to your course and click on any MyELT assignment.


    If you aren’t sure where to click, ask your teacher

    3. MyELT will open in a new window. Make sure pop-ups are enabled. Click here for help.

    4. The first time you access MyELT, you will need to create a Cengage account and/or login.

    Login:
    • You may already have a Cengage account if you use Cengage
    materials for a different course, made a purchase through Cengage,
    or logged in to MyELT through your LMS for a different course.
    • If needed, click Need help signing in? to reset your password.

    New Account:
    • Click Create Account and choose Student
    • Enter your information. Note: Use the same address you use to
    log in to your school’s LMS.
    • Open the “Welcome to Cengage” email.
    Click Activate Cengage Account to set your password.

    5. You may be asked for a Content Access Code.


    If you aren’t asked for a code, you will be taken directly to your assignment

    Done! Start Using MyELT

    From your LMS course, you can:


    • Complete MyELT assignments
    • View grades in your LMS gradebook
