Notes and Reminders:

● Homework: Homework for the week (Reading Tic Tac Toe and Math Homelinks) is due by
Friday each week. The purpose of the homework is to reinforce the concepts we are learning
in school.

● The classroom is in need of both sanitizing wipes and facial tissue. We are grateful for
any donations.

Here is What We Are Working On This Week:

Math
● Our math lessons this week will focus on
multiplying mixed numbers by whole
numbers, three-fruit salad, multistep
division number stories, division
measurement number stories.
● Students will take the progress check at
the end of the week.
● At the beginning of math each day,
students are either working on their
multiplication facts, a daily math practice
which reinforces past and current
concepts, word problems, or division.
Reading
● This week we will continue our new class
novel Wonder.
● For literacy centers; students will be given
a contract of activities they are to
complete throughout the week.
● During guided reading this week, we will
read a short passage on Greek mythology
and do a related activity.

Social Studies Science

● The Southeast region. ● Energizing Everything: Lesson 3 Energy
● Current Events Transfer and Energizing
● Mystery Science Mini Lesson

Writing Spelling
● Poetry ● Each week students will be given a
spelling list in class and will do related
activities.
● There will be a spelling progress check on
Friday.
