Hired as the weekend concierge to cover front desk duties on Saturdays, Sundays & Mondays. After 2 weeks the executive director
quickly learned I was capable of more responsibilities so PT changed to FT and was awarded a small raise. These added
responsibilities included Human Resources, interviewing potential new hires, assisting with & reviewing applications,
recommending their hiring, overseeing the on-boarding, trainings on the designated computer programs for compliance purposes.
Front desk responsibilities were the usual type but during COVID extra measures had to be followed at the front door. All visitors,
whether they were employees or not, had to be temperature checked and oxygen monitored, logged in with that information and
sprayed. All visitors and employees were required to wear masks and/or face shields. All equipment coming through the door was
also screened. The facility is home to potentially 120 residents and an additional 20 memory care residents.

FT Live-In House Manager

Hired for the 24/7/365 care for two wonderful seniors; a 7,000 square foot estate on 11 acres and 3 ponds; very large caged lanai
with a 75,000 gallon salt water pool; 4 dogs (Schnauzer, Labradoodle & 2 Great Danes – each Dane at different times); cooking;
cleaning; laundry; errands; shopping; calendars; medical appointment and transports; car care (Bentley, Mercedes, Cadillac, Porsche,
& Audi); graphic design; administrative assistance; hosting in-home or off-site venues; decorating; some travel; oversee contract
employees; incoming & outgoing mail, packages and deliveries; weekly trash/recyclables; other duties as requested.
Due to COVID19 this wonderful couple had to hire a FT live-In Nurse.

FT Director, Volunteer Program

Gulf Coast Heritage Association, Inc. dba Historic Spanish Point Museum, Osprey, FL
July 2012 to April 2014
Recruited, employed and trained new volunteers to man the indoor and outdoor museum facilities. A total of 160 volunteers were
scheduled and managed for this 30+ acre site covering 2 shifts per day, 7 days a week year round. Programs were implemented and
orientations provided for members, volunteers and the general public. Participated in outreach programs to increase museum
membership and awareness (i.e. Earth Day). Supervised the front desk and a gift shop, and provided training on the POS cash
registers. In addition, supported an MS office networking environment for fellow staff and board members. Continually provided
internet research and graphic design. Assistance given to the On-Site Event Specialist with weddings, special dinners, events, and
fund raising opportunities. Also enjoyed assisting the Program Director with 3,500 third and fifth grade students visiting the
museum to complete Sarasota county history and science educational requirements, November to May.

Administrative Assistance
Award: Participated in a 2-day Volunteer Management course presented by the Volunteer Community
Connection of Sarasota county. At the end of day 2 we were asked to develop a program planned around our
current job with volunteers. Five areas to cover included 1) recruitment/placing, 2) training/orienting,
3) supervising/bridging, 4) recognizing, and 5) evaluating. The plan I submitted was so well received the
instructor asked for permission to keep and use it in future classes. Of course!
