Movie Reflection

Doll house is a movie about a troubled rock star named Rustin who tries to make up for lost
time with his estranged daughter Yumi. In the first part of the movie, his friend told Rustin that he is
ready to die because he has fulfilled all things that he has wanted. After hearing that, he immediately
went back to France where he left his wife and daughter. But unfortunately, his wife died and his
daughter is already big. When he arrived there, he saw his daughter. The uncle of Yumi is looking for
a babysitter for her daughter, and Rustin heard it and he applied for it. That’s the way that he thought
that he and his daughter would get to know each other. After watching this movie, I got so emotional
because I didn’t expect that the father who is trying to make up for the times that he should be with
his daughter died. It’s a great movie because it teaches us a lesson that whatever decisions we make
or responsibility we have, we should never let it go just because of those things we like that we know

that it will not benefit from our lives. We can do things we like but we should remember our top
priority in life. When we make a heavy decision like leaving your family, you should look at the
future on what consequences you might encounter.

I pity his daughter who doesn’t know that the person who's babysitting her is his real father.
Actually, the daughter deserves to know the truth at the very first even though it will hurt her but I
know she will also like it since they had a great time with each other when his daughter’s auntie and
uncle don't know the truth yet. They are really compatible and comfortable with each other. They’re
really like father and daughter. But then, in the end her daughter knew the truth.
Don’t make a decision that will make you regret it in the end because we cannot change it anymore.
You can make up for it but don’t expect that it will turn out well.. Treasure and take care of the things
that are vulnerable to you like family and don’t let other things distract you from doing it. You can do
the things you really want but don’t leave your responsibilities and priorities just because of it.
