Intro Rules Instruction

HOW TO PLAY Each of our classmates will pick one card in the
deck of cards

Students will reveal their cards at the same time.

Let the students go to their groups to start the


instruction of the activity.
Intro Rules Instruction

1. The Spade Group will be assigned as speakers which means they


will select 5 members to represent as speakers who will
speak/discuss the topic questions.
2. The Diamond Group will be assigned as interrogators which means
they will also select 5 members to represent as interrogators who
will ask questions to the speakers. The questions should be of higher
level type of questions. After asking the question, the speaker will be
given 1 minute to answer the question.

3. The Club Group will be assigned as judges which means they will
select 3 members to represent as judges who will make criteria for
judging and judge/critic the roles of the speakers and interrogators.

4. The speakers will then proceed in drawing their topic questions


from the bowl.

5. They will be given 25 minutes to prepare.

6. As stated in the instructions, each speaker will start to speak and


only be given 2 minutes each.

7. The interrogator will ask a high level kind of question to a speaker


who will answer it in 1 minute.

8. The judge will critic/judge the speakers and interrogators.

9. The judge will choose who is the best speaker and interrogator.

1. Discover the impact of the lesson to the students
2. Evaluate student's performance

4. Manifest retention of knowledge
5. Develop the students problem solving skills and
decision-making faculties
PRINCIPLES OF QUESTIONING

PLAN TO USE QUESTIONS THAT ENCOURAGE


THINKING AND REASONING. REALLY
EFFECTIVE QUESTIONS ARE PLANNED
BEFOREHAND.
ASK QUESTIONS IN WAYS THAT INCLUDE
EVERYONE.
GIVE STUDENTS TIME TO THINK.
AVOID JUDGING STUDENTS' RESPONSES.
FOLLOW UP STUDENTS' RESPONSES IN
WAYS THAT ENCOURAGE DEEPER THINKING.
