B. How will you determine whether or not a work is literary? Discuss your answer. (20
points)
One method to classify whether or not a work is literary, by the seven literary standards. This is
the trait that determines if a work is literary or not. As previously stated, the seven literary standards may
be used to identify whether or not a literary work is literary based on its style. If the work is written in a
complicated or flowery style, it is most likely literary. To go further, we might examine the work's
objective as well as the target audience.
Usually, Literary works are often intended to be admired for their beauty or aesthetic quality,
rather than just to be informative. They are frequently intricate pieces that need careful reading and
interpretation. Literary works often have a smaller audience than non-literary works because they need a
higher level of participation from the reader. To summarize, we may look at a work's genre, style, and
purpose to evaluate if it is literary or not. It is most likely literary if it is a complicated piece of art designed
to be admired for its beauty or depth.
