The object symbolizes and represents the promises and love of Awiyao to Lumnay.
Awiyao give it to Lumnay which shows that he cherishes her and still believe that
she has worth.
2. Gangsas
It is an object presented and played during the cultural wedding ceremony. It
represents the man in the wedding as the gangsas are strong and it provides beat to
the dance
3. Bon Fire or the Flame
It signifies the burning love of Lumnay and Awiyao to each other
4. Darkness or the moonlight
It symbolizes the feelings of Lumnay. The feeling of sadness and sacrifice of
Lumnay to Awiyao. It also symbolizes isolation as during the night, Lumnay ran away
from the wedding.
5. River or Stream
It represents the uneding flow of love of Lumnay to Awiyao that even though they
did not end up marrying each other, she still love him and with her love she
sacrifice herself to be away from him. It also represents the life of Lumnay, river
is known to have unedning flow and this signifies that Lumnay's life will still
continue even though she and Awiyao did not end up with each other.
